Shot him to pieces at last :)

Had me Z nearly a fortnight now and loving it to bits , ive been using it for work a few days and then going back to the 200sx coz i didnt really by the Z as a car to use everyday,

ok on with the story ..

Each night i have a 11 mile drive home and just cruies down the 2 dual carriage ways home not really wanting to floor it. Thing is each night a WRX a 2002 model keeps booting it past me then slowing it down to about 50 on the Carriage way so i have to pass him then he does it again , u can imaging what im starting to feel like after this NOB keeps doing it for a few nights ,

So last night we get to the roundabout halfway between the dual carriage ways ,

i think **** it hes at the side of me and looking at me quite happily, so i flick the power switch on the auto box and turn overdrive off , well no more WRX giving me any more hassle hope the lads learnt his lesson smile.gif

Let this be a lesson to all scooby drivers even though i used to be on smile.gif

Silvias and Fairlady's are JAP cars, mine are UK, but I get the point !!!

And why in gods name did they choose Fairlady..

Couldn't get much further away from the car if you tried with a name like that wink.gif

(I know, I know I've read the book so I know why.. but ... *why*! Lol)..

Japanese dont like cars with numbers and latters with and prefer names. The guy who designed the Z wanted to give the car a graceful name. And as obvious as it sounds biggrin.gif the name Fairlady was after the designer went to watch the play My Fair Lady.

Sounds bad but I have read from several sources the same story.

Stuart

Must be the season for Impreza killing - I raced one round the sliproad to the m58 last night - I was pulling 95+ and still accelerating round the corner - quite a tight 90 degree bend - the z sticks like glue - he bottled it and was miles back when I looked in my mirrors - I throttled back to 80-85 and he cruised up behind me but didnt come past!!!

Ive raced one before and I always got the impression that they are quick but the z seems to handle better.
