I've got de-cats on my Z but the rear section is a one piece satainless system, custom made by maniflow, and has this big resinator box or something further down the pipes. Although, with the rest of my upgrades, i'm getting closeish to 400BHP - other people with similar mods seem to getting 420 and 430ish BHP!!! with mongooses etc. Just wondering how much difference a new back bit would make?

 

Maybe the boxes are too restrictive or something. Anybody any idea of how much power varies between exhausts?

Specificaly no, generally lots.

the best solution is to go for a single pipe (from the cat on) with piping size of 90 to 100mm with a single box!
