Addition to the Z32 - Modena 360 GT

Decided I needed a better class of car to drive around on nice days, so have taken delivery of a Ferrari 360 Modena GT in red. Obviously keeping the Z32 as well but this is a little bit of fun for dry days on track.

No John, you can run radio controlled cars in the wet too - just put the electronics inside a baloon biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

True. Cheaper to run than the Z, full set of wheels for £12, new engine £20 and a complete shell for £18 but of course you can;t cruise in it LOL. Wish the Z was this cheap to run.

LOL so was I right??? Do I win a prize??? biggrin.gif

No prize as it wasn't much of a guess. Anyway if I had the money to buy a real 360 GT would I still be posting about it on here? I would be spilling champers whilst typing into the Ferrari OC forum. LOL

I've been playing with the little Tomy Bit Char-G cars - only 6cm long, 45 second charge gives 2mins of runtime..

Top fun smile.gif (So far have collected a Castrol Nismo R34, Nissan Gloria, NSX GM-10, Castrol Skyline and Toyota bB)..

Addictive little things..

I was totally laffing at people who talked about the RC cars being fun but I have to say its a blast. When I got mine it was a little basic and the battery didn't last long, but with a few careful upgrades to the electronics and a sport tuned gearbox(jeez 'm even doing this speed thing on a rc car!) it will run for about an hour or so at full blast.

Vijay

Yup indeedy, had it a couple of years now, professionally sprayed/painted and never seen the tarmac yet!

Just waiting for a couple to come from Germany, a 1/6 scale Shogun and a 1/5 scale FG racer for the track.

Not sure what the 300 will cost, depends if you can find one (ask Vijay where he tracked his down)

The bigger ones are not cheap, my Shogun will run out at about £900.00 for the full package but it`s over 3ft long and runs off a chainsaw engine.

Clarkey, it cost me about £150, but it's brand new.

Bob - you nutter, chainsaw engine - love it smile.gif You could take people out from a distance lol
