Looks like a single dump valve? or am I being stupid and it's something totally different... What would the disadvantages be of doing this? Must be much cheaper if you've already got the hardpipes... :S More pics http://www.thai300zx.com/images/members/yai/Yai.htm From the Thai Z site. http://www.thai300zx.com [This message has been edited by ChrisC (edited 22-09-2002).]

Hi, Just fitted new toplink to drivers side, and when I got back to the 'wheel on' stage - gave it a good yank to test - OK vertical movement is now fixed - but now I notice there is some horizontal 'give'. If I place my hands either side of the wheel in line with the axle and push/pull there is about quarter of an inch total 'give'! Seems to be in the direction of the steering arm! Left side is OK. Is this a bush thing - or a steering arm adjustment/replacement thing? HELP! AndyGP

Hi guys, I am thinking of buying a set of Radius R6 alloy wheels for my SWB,in 19s. It will be 8x19 for the fronts,9x19 for the rears. They don't come any bigger in width than 9 inches. They said they will do me a package with the TOYO proxes T1-S (as i wanted TOYO): 235/35/19 (front) and 265/30/19 (rears). Is this the right size of rubber for these wheels? Any suggestion/help will be appreciated as I am ordering them on Monday. By the way I have been quoted £1580 (inc.Shipping). Cheerz "AMMAR"

Pulling off hard in 1st gear its fine, 2nd gear not noticed anything, but in 3rd I get to about 4000-5000 revs then its shoots up an extra 500-750 revs then slowly goes back down to where it was then carries on accelerating. Iain said it sounds like its something on the clutch that is causing the slip. I agree but its happens every time I do it. I would have thought that the thing that is causing it to slip would burn off with the heat and friciton. What you think? Could my clutch need bleeding, or adjusting? Or is it looking like a new clutch? Stuart

Just a quicky. Along the drivers side plenum chamber there is two thin metal tubes with rubber pipes going to the throttle body (just behind the butterfly valves) and somewhere else. Whilst cleaning (much needed) the throttle bodies I took the little pipe that goes down to the drivers side intake pipe and also the other little pipe off. Trouble is I can't remember which pipe goes to which tube. Can someone please have a quick look and let me know. Doesn't seem to make any difference in running either way round.

Do you remeber a few months ago some people got threatening e-mails after offering help to another member on the forum, and then we started getting e-mails from rape sites and child porn sites. Well I am now sick of getting these because my children use the computer every day and my son of 14 found some of these perverted things AGAIN. So can the brave CU*T who thought it might be a laugh to put others names down for this shit come forward, or are you still going to hide behind your face full of shit that you use to be nice to others when really all you are is a useless piece of cowardly perverted rotting flesh. Because if and when I find out who you are, I…
