I have a Road Angel unit on test at the moment, which is one of those GPS speed camera/accident blackspot warning things http://www.blackspot.com/ too early for me to say at the moment what i think, as its only been on for 100 miles and i only passed 4 cameras, but it will be getting more use These units retail for £379. I was at Blackspot yesterday and found out all the info. They wont do group buys or quantity discounts for anyone, but they will do a bundling offer They have offered to bundle the Road Angel and the Snooper SLD 920 Laser Blinder together for £579, saving £90 on the Blinder price effectively (RRP £290) http://www.snoope…

Got a new telescope a few weeks ago and not had chance to really use it, Here are a few pics taken from the telescope. They are not very good at the moment because I have not learn how to use it correctly and I need more practice, and darker skys They will be getting better in detail and is size when I get used to it and get it set up better. Hope you like. The Moon Slighy out of focus and not of a particulary interesting part either. An open star cluster This picture does not give the sight justice. Saturn Again, looks better when you see it for yourself and again better pics when I get it set up right This is wh…

Hello Men, I presume there are no birds left on the forum after our insane testorone fuelled rantings!!!! Dr Dazz (Darren) the creator of Frankenztein Droptop Z iz nearly ready to commenze workzzzz!!!!!!!!!! Ok I will drop the stupid accent!!! So the potentialy tuned up engine from the SWB TT Z is ready to go to the Convertible Na! In the convertion, I have read all the gumpf on TT.Net about it. I have ordered, one full engine gasket set! One Water pump,PCV Valves, EGR bypass kit from 300.com. And I might order a Fidanza flywheel, simply because I don't want to pay more than £100 per 1BHP increase! I don't care if you call me tight!! …

Ok Ok so somebody already put a post up about it but im asking the same question for a different reason. At traffic lights etc when you are stationary under normal driving conditions should you put you car into neutral? I only ask this because surely if the car is in drive and you are holding it back the autobox is under unecessary strain as well as possibly other parts on the car or does the transmission have a feature to compensate for this? Cheerz LUKE DUKESTER (still gutted but determined to keep zedding!) ------------------

Just to really pee on my cornflakes before my car goes in for some real tasty goodies i think my autobox is about to commit suicide . Driving over to luke's the other day to order some stuff and as i was sitting in traffic i heard a horrible CLUNK!!. When i got to lukes and i had it in neutral all you could hear was a terrible grinding noise which oddly enough stopped when i put it back into drive and could only be heard on pull-off. If it has gone i think im gonna go manual in aticipation of more power as i think my box was about on its realistic limit really. I suddenly feel very empty inside. Cheerz LUKE DUKESTER (Totally gutted but i …

Hi all !! I've been thinking about buying a Z for about a year and have finally plucked up the courage. I've been following closely the messages on the forums and they've been invaluable. Now its my turn to ask you all for help... Have found a Z that suits my spec perfectly - have put a deposit down but there are a couple of things that maybe some of you could help with? I would be really grateful of any feedback. Have gotta make a decision before Friday! (gulp) OK, here goes... The car is a 92 (K) UK manual 2+2. Bodywork seems sweet apart from a small ding/crease in the rear of the car just above the numberplate. The spoiler is slightly blistered (a …

Spoke earlier to my mechanic, and he agrees with me that I would be better modding the 200SX and leave the 300ZX as stock for now. He is a sensible guy as he strongly recommends I get he suspension and brakes uprated first. He has loads of experience modding 200SX's, and says I could easily take it from ~170BHP to ~250BHP. Happy days !! Maybe I should start visiting a 200SX forum as well !!

when this new all singin all dancin forum is up and runnin, is there any chance we can make it so as we can just cut and paste piccies on the forum as opposed to farting about with typing dirty great long link type things which is far too much hassle for lazy tw@ts like me... DOnt slate me for suggesting it i aint a software engineer and dont pretend to know anything about it but if its possible it would be nice. If it can be done i'd be interested to know why and i would have learned something new.
