Just to really pee on my cornflakes before my car goes in for some real tasty goodies i think my autobox is about to commit suicide .

 

Driving over to luke's the other day to order some stuff and as i was sitting in traffic i heard a horrible CLUNK!!. When i got to lukes and i had it in neutral all you could hear was a terrible grinding noise which oddly enough stopped when i put it back into drive and could only be heard on pull-off.

 

If it has gone i think im gonna go manual in aticipation of more power as i think my box was about on its realistic limit really.

 

I suddenly feel very empty inside.

Thats exactly the same symtoms as my box............and is now getting recon fitted with oil cooler and new gearbox drive shaft.........
