Apparently the Beeb are gonna be at the Boxhill meet tomorrow. Doing a feature on Jap cars for the Inside Out program which is on before Eastbenders. Wish I'd know sooner but my coolant leak is still not sorted so best to stay put I reckon. Bummer! ------------------ "Life sucks. Get a F**king helmet, okay?" Denis Leary

I don't take 'em and never will through personal choice but on Sky news this morning they came out with this. Ecstasy could cause Parkinsons disease in later life. Experiments where rats had been given the equivalent of three tablets showed signs of developing the symptoms of Parkinsons over a period of time. Hmmm, my question is that surely all the troops in the Vietnam war that were fed MDMA for months on end would be displaying these symptoms around about now wouldn't they??? Or is this just another wild speculation and piece of propaganda to scare monger people out of taking it? I know that what gets sold on the street can be shite and rarely pure …

OK my fellow zederoonies. My landline is back on and I've got BT Openworld to install on the Craptop but first I wanna reinstall '98 as I've got so much crap on the Craptop it runs like an R34 V-Spec with Safeway 95 RON unleaded in it! LOL Yes I work in IT but with a real O/S Unix not this PC shat! So I'm not brilliant with them. I need to backup some of my files onto my Zippy drive and then I'm all set. Do I... a) Scratch the HD completely using format c: or... b) just pop the '98 CD in and do it that way? My HD is really badly fragmented etc. Thankyou greatly in a temple of buddha appreciation stylee and may you bare many,…

Just a quick note to anyone searching for a recommendation for an upholsterer to do re-trims. I have just had the first part of my interior re-trim completed and I am so impressed with this guys work I will actually recommend him. He is charging me just £200 for re-trimming the rear seats, all door/centre console and underdash trim panels. I am supplying the material for the job. I think this is superb value for money and having just got the rear seats and two panels back from him his workmanship is truly excellent. His name is Paul Salter, Derby, 07887-864797. ------------------ Z first and anything else is secondary! John (Nukem) Newcomb www.geocit…

As my car isn't running propperly at the mo I want to check its not the ECU screwing up. I want to swap the ECU with another Z to see if this cures the problem. I have a TT and a guy up the road has an NA. Would using this chip make things worse? More importantly, is it safe?

Anyone who's converted their 300 themselves, how did you get the insert out of the back of your crank before putting in the pilot bearing? Looking at it last night, I assume that I need a really small puller. Any tips? Cheers. ------------------ 'I hope I die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather and not like his passengers....'

  20. I am looking to get a PCV valve and rear crank oil seal from Courtesy Nissan. Will these fit a UK car? I cant see any reason why they wouldn't, but I want to make sure before I part with my money. Does any one know the price of a PCV valve and rear crank seal from Nissan UK? Cos if about the same its not worth it. Stuart [This message has been edited by SRRAE (edited 26-09-2002).]
