Is carbon fibre stronger than fibre glass?

The centre panel of my rear wing sags a little in the centre which I suppose is due to its weight and length and I was considering my alternatives:

1. Have a thin metal support made for the middle to support it from the centre of the tailgate below it.

2. Have the existing centre panel remade in polished aluminium.

3. Have the existing centre panel remade in carbon fibre.

Not sure which is best. Ideas?

yes carbon fibre is one of the strongest materiels you can get for weight to strength ratio.

Thats whyit is so expensive.

Adjustable carbon fibre center piece would be very very nice. (just dont forget to paint it lol)

OK cool, just got to find someone who can make a replacement then. http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/jvnewcomb1961/spoiler.jpg
