The real trick is to go in and talk to them. A real pain I know but it gets results and it's worth it in the end.

Hiteq in Wigan, I know its a long way for but I have heard a few people talk about thier work and I have not heard 1 thing bad about them.

I have emailed them with a clutch problem. They replied next morning and had another exchange of emails that day.

Not had any work dont there myself yet, however I went down there a few months ago. Dream garage, Skylines and ZXs galore.

Try them it may even save you a few £ www.hiteq.co.uk

I agree with AndyP, I arranged to go to them and had Peter driving around in the car for about half an hour. They are not rpefect but few car places are. I have to say that now I have met him in person and heard his advice it was worth a 3.5 hour drive to Maldon and a day off work. Although I didn't really want to hear what he had to say he was in reality spot on. Fulfilling his suggestions will be the last performance upgrades I do to the car as it will take it to 450bhp and that is enough for me..........well until I can afford the car insurance to have NOS fitted. biggrin.gif

Who were the customers/cars he took to the rolling road session on Wednesday? Anyone on here?

If you live in Essex contact Mike Feeney. He has a good mechanic. He is near Ongar. 01277-374201

Try C&S Wood in Astley, Manchester. Iknow it is a long trek but the customer service is excellent, ask for Phil, Senior Engineer who owns a zed and knows everything about working on them. Just got mine back and am well chuffed with the results.

I agree with Cos. Phone Jeff at ZedWorld.
