What a cool looking car ! Anyone here agree ? I reckon they look better than any Ferraris. I love the angular look. Bugatti EB110's are also nice. SERIOUS Q. NOW.... Why do some cars look nice and do good looks go with good aerodynamic design ? Before someone says the best aerodynamic shape is a teardrop or something - that shape would not make a practical car and how come the fastest cars often look cool ? Surely someone would have made a teardrop car and broke records if it was the best ? Have been offered a 280ZX manual gearbox. Will this fit My SWB 300ZXTT (auto , but gearbox isnt working.) The guy who is selling said he will also do the conversion. He has all ready built a spanking 280zx from two crashed ones and seems quite handy. He says the 280's manual gearbox was the same as what is used in the V6 300ZX. Is this correct or is he talking about the 84-89 300zx?? And while on the topix is their any difference between the TT and NA manual box on the 90+ZX?? Thanks Roy

i am considering the option of having the bottom end strengthened on my zed, after it blew last weekend. is it worth it? and what can i do? has anyone here done it? it just seems as situationn of " if you need to repair then you might as well upgrade". i dont want the bottom end going again thats all? cheers steve

In my UK spec Z - I've got H3 bulbs for low beam, what bulb should i be looking for for the main beam, memory tells me a 9005 bulb, is that correct? Also, do the jap / american Z's have 9006 bulbs for the low beam? Cheers ------------------ Simon

not sure if this will work? i have a uk tt auto and need a new engine will a import auto engine work?? what bout the ecu?? its a uk ecu it will have to run a jap engine with uk gearbox? is there anything else to consider?? or do i get a uk spec engine?? any help appreceated!

at the autions near me in ellesmere port, apparently it has a reserve of 6grand, grey in colour and apparently been there a while. it looks in good nick, but from what i can gather from talking to the others down there is that no one will bid on it cos no one can accurately value the buggers. is sounded pretty sweet when they drove it through, looks standard too, it will be going through on thursday again at 2 pm and on friday at 7.00pm id its still there. just thought id let u know

sorry to be still bleating on about shock absorbers but i'm afraid i will not rest till ive got to the bottom of it. as u are probably aware im after some nissan shox for a jap 300 1992 i speak to nissan, who take my vin details and ring me back with prices of 70 odd quid each plus vat for rear shocks, 80 quid odd for a front left and 90 quid for a front right. fcuk i think to that and phone jefftt who reckons they should be around 40 quid each plus vat at any nelsons and gives me the part number. i return to nissan with jefftt's part number, they get flustered and say dont u fukin belive us blah blah blah and get quite snotty, i say i dont give a fcuk…

Stupid me has damaged the ecu chip when removing it (I was intending to socket it). It was an original Nissan chip for a Japanese auto TT, the code number on the chip is M105ADA5. Does anyone have a copy of the program code which they can e-mail me.

When I remove the petrol cap there is a rush of air into the tank. Do I need a new petrol cap as there appears to be a one way valve in the cap that may be sticking. Alternatively does the tank have a breather pipe, and if so where does it terminate? ------------------
