okay you lot, the new server is almost ready to go. but, first of all, i want to run some ideas by you, and get a bit of feedback 1) All of the new forums will be empty to start with. I will import GENERAL, TECHNICAL and EVENTS into an archived section of the new board, which will be read only, when i have got some support feedback on the next part.... 2) The only user accounts that will be created on the new board will be subscribed members. All others will have to register themselves again. The reason for this is because it is the quickest/easiest way to remove all of the old users, aliases, mistakes. 3) Have a think about the User Titles that you wa…

Hi, Was having a look on the site the other day and someone had a load of ZX hose for sale? Does anyone know who it was? Also if I can't find who it was does anyone know the dimensions for the different hose, as this would save a packet if I can source it outside of Nissan! Regards, Mark

Stupid me has damaged the ecu chip when removing it (I was intending to socket it). It was an original Nissan chip for a Japanese auto TT, the code number on the chip is M105ADA5. Does anyone have a copy of the program code which they can e-mail me.

When I remove the petrol cap there is a rush of air into the tank. Do I need a new petrol cap as there appears to be a one way valve in the cap that may be sticking. Alternatively does the tank have a breather pipe, and if so where does it terminate? ------------------

Picked my car up from C&S Woods garage in Astley a couple of days ago. Its just been fitted with a Stillen front end and headlight panel, Veilside side skirts and 18" split rim alloys. I was amazed at how great the car looked, both inside and out. Absolute top job was done by Phil. Whatever i asked him to do (and there was a lot!) got done, NO HASSLES! Good garages are hard to come by and even though i live 250 miles south of manchester i will always use them. Keep up the good work guys. Will post piccies soon.

Handbag's down please girls, and take a peak at these vids(might take a while dialup guys): http://www.lad.lv/~martini/porsche/Videos/RUF-CTR_Nurburgring1.wmv http://www.lad.lv/~martini/porsche/Videos/RUF-CTR_Nurburgring2.wmv I think this is part of the RuF Faszination video, of some-guy-whos-name-I-cant-remember and the RUF CTR around the Nurburgring! There are more Vids here: http://www.lad.lv/~martini/porsche/default.asp?l=eng&Sub=3&SubSub=2 , but they are all of various Porsche models - but hey, we all like fast cars right? Hi, Could anybody suggest the cause of a suddenly erratic tickover. We're talking about somewhere between 700'ish (normal I think) and about 12-1300. Doesn't really seem to be related to the running temparature of the car, but it does seem to be getting worse. What I'm wondering is a) do I have some electronic gadget just about to die on me (not good!) or b) whether it could just be something sticking and a job for some carb cleaner down the appropriate orifice. It's not related to turning on/off aircon or anything of that ilk (as I think there's some sort of regulator for this), because it happens even with the heater controls firmly in "off". Oh…

This appeals mainly to the UK spec guys with dummies fitted on the front corners, these clear corner indicators are easily fitted in minutes using stock loom, give off 4 times more brighness than stock side lights, so a big help unlike jap spec corners, have no orange gunk inside and a slightly clearer lense, see pic below, normally sell for £125, fitted on my car only 3 months or so ago, £80.00 delivered Check out Macca/Timmy's rides for pics fitted to a UK car, Got some new Euro clear ones instead Smithy [This message has been edited by Smithy (edited 01-10-2002).]

Just been searching through millions of posts on twinturbo.net and it appears once, a long long time ago you had the same problem as me. If you're still on here any suggestions would be very helpful!! My Z won't rev over about 5~5.5K no matter what gear it's in. In neutral its fine. Low end performance is fine too. What did you find was the cause/cure for this? Thanks Rob
