Last one for now hopefully the more time i spend on here i can give somthing back to the forum. I have had my Z fully serviced. Spark plugs the lot. But every say 20 mins of running I will get the ocasional 60 secs of dodgy tick over. Like i am missing on a cyclinder or two. This once happened when i applied the barkes hard. E.G. When the engine had to work harder. Noramlly reving the engine will clear this problem. Any ideas? Thanks. Mike.

Hi there i have a 1991 TT jap import. As far as i no it is stock except for a visual mod of the rear light cluster that I have got blacked out. Anyway there are obviously the converters out there to solve my problem of topping out at 112MPH. Im off to brunting thorpe run way soon you see. But i woundered if there is a cheaper way. Like pulling a fuse or knocking of perhaps a pin on the ECU conectors. Anyone have any ideas as my Z has already blead me dry for the mo. Thanks!!!!!

Hi all, Has anyone out there had problems with either the oil pressure gauge or the sender? I find it hard to believe that my oil pressure can vary between about 10psi and 60psi under the same driving conditions. I'm not talking about idling versus driving, here, I mean when I'm actually going along. Generally, when I'm running down the motorway at 90'ish, she runs about 60psi. However, just lately, when I look one minute; it's reading 60psi like normal, then about 25psi the next (at the same revs, temp, etc). No problems with performance, smog from the rear or anything like that, so after initially sh*tting myself, I've resigned it to the gauge or sen…

This fcuker is leaking like buggery! Now I don't know yet without having a closer look if it's not fitted correctly(seemed to use more petrol straight out of the bodyshop?) or if the pipe is corroded. All I do know is it needs sorting asap as it's a) dangerous b) makin' me car stink and c) costing me sh1t loadsa money. Can you advise from personal experience mate? ------------------ "Life sucks. My misfire is now happening on the road not just the dyno. I think its mostly cyl 6 but I think its time to replace the ignition coils, PTU and low tension wires. Is courtesy nissan the best place, and is there anything else worth replacing at the same time? (I got new plugs). Anyone know the likely cost? Who knows how to fit the new tension leads to existing loom? cheerz

i have been thinking hard about what to do after my bottom end blew last weekend. I am condsidering buying andyD's zed, as it has a new engine, its a series II, manual, and black just like mine. i could then use my zed for spares and claw some cash back by breaking my old zed. Alternatively, i could just get a brand new engine from nissan, and use all the new hoses and other new parts i have bought for my last engine and install the whole shabang in my zed. what do you guys think? regards steve

  20. Basically i had it set up at 10PSI. But as soon as NOS kicks in it goes up to 13PSI. Generally!!.. I am speechless. I felt that i was about to take off. I was going slowly with 3rd gear when I hit the gas for first time and it felt like i was in 1st gear. After 5/6 test runs engine runs perfect and generally i am excited about Saturday. So lets see. a) 300Hp (Standard HP for TT Manual) b) + 100Hp Nos c) + 10Hp Intake d) + 15Hp Exhaust system e) + 30Hp from raised boost f) + 20Hp from strip interior --------------- 475Hp Hopefully with slicks i will have a good start.

Wot a fuccin joke them goin on about Family Values !! Now Edwina sees this as a money making opportunity but is claiming she is doing it out of a sense of right !! Don't make me laugh you obnoxious bitchh !! Why didn't she expose him years ago ? God I hated those Tories when they were in power. Bunch of nasty weirdo's in power by appealing to people's greed and fear. Politics is boring these days I find, but I was a passionate anti-Tory when they were in power. Maybe a "little bit 'o politics" [in Ben Elton-style] 'll liven this place up ?!

Just to let you know, I was ordering a load of bits from courtesey and got the usual discount from TT.net. I then said to the guy I can get these parts for a certain price from ebay, can you match them. He then came down a whole load more dollars to such an extent that it wasn't worth getting the parts from ebay to save a few bucks! Might be worth it if you are buying a bunch of parts, the guys name was Butch!! By the Way! Mark
