just a quick note.... i am stopping all new registrations until the new server is running (sorry any new guys, but wont be long) i am archiving and importing all of the forums now, so any new threads and posts done from now onwards will probably be lost... once the import has been done, and its located and working, then i will get the dns details changed over in the meantyime i will redirect from the old one, so you should all get there in the end

I'm after the pipes around the power steering pump and steering rack. I've got a leak from one but not sure which so I'll just replace the lot I think. They are the ones which lead down from the HICAS pump to under the engine with the big hydraulic connectors on.

Right then, im fuming! When I bought my new wheels I went for the above for cost (not that cheap)and as they are fitted to Porsches are Z rated and grip well, i thought they would be up to the job. Having had three side walls go in less than 3000 miles!!!!!!! im not a happy bunny! According to ATS there known for it, the compound used will not last and cracks will appear on the inside wall and eventually leak, blow out! Great a not so cheap Z rated tyre that could cost you your life! Ive now switched, I dont think Contintental will be very happy after I instruct my solicitor to approach their customer services department tomorrow! Watch this space! …

Just thought you might like to know ... On way home from work tonight, locked horns with a brand-spanking Merc CL500 coupe. Matey obvioulsy thought he'd leave me for dead as we screamed down the slip road of the M20 (he was in front and had a slight head start). However, I'm pleased to relate that my little baby gained ground on him all the way to 120 'ish where other traffic was encountered and anchors sharply applied! Fooking Marvellous! 9 of my car available for the same money as his, and even though I've just checked the Merc website to see the CL500 has 306bhp as standard, the zed had the edge. No wonder he looked a bit pale when I passed him! …

OK OK OK I know, this forum should be about cars (yes you're quite right it should) but 2 things I just heard on the telly news just made me flip (probably "Angry of Tunbridge Wells" puce over "Fence sitting wimp LibDem" orange). 1) The chairman of the Tory party complaining that the electorate (that's us, folks) think they are the nasty party - which is "unfair". Ahhh dear little diddums - you caused the biggest wave of unemployment this country has ever seen, said "there is no such thing as society", sold off the family silver, ruined our education, health and railways and you think that being called "nasty" is unfair? Well, sit on this and spin... 2) Ian Dunc…
