Hi, Just wondered if anyone can help me out and take a couple of photos using their digital camera, I will of course travel to you if you are in the south/west London or Surrey area. I have been wanting to get a digital camera,but haven't got around to it, has anyone got any suggestions on which model and where to get them from, I want to spend about 100-150! All the Best, Mark

Quick question for you all. I've been over at twinturbo.net for a while now, and have previously only used this site for its wonderful online service manual. Is that feature gone now? I checked FAQ but found nothing. Also, what does Zed mean? I know it refers to Z cars, but Zed? Like a Zepplin thing? Thanks, hope to see you around here more often, Tony

Hi all. Not trying to make my first post particularly controversial... does anyone have any information about what locations do what in the Z32 EPROM? I recently had the chance to dump out a couple of non-standard chips, one of which has 3 selectable maps. If it's likely to be a help to the 300 community I'd like to propose posting these dumps somewhere for all to examine, maybe building up a database to see who's doing what in their "performance" mapping. If anyone's worried about piracy, I can list these in a format that can't be directly imported into an EPROM programmer. I s'pose, technically, anyone making a new map is infringing Nissan's copyright anyway by starting…

...so recently, the radio and CD player have developed that wirring, groaning noise in the background related to engine speed. I've removed the unit and checked all of the connections and the earth. All look ok, and the noise is still there. Anyone got any ideas where to look next and what I should be looking for (ie could it be a poor earth on the ariel?) ...any suggestions gratefully received. thanks Jack

I'm going to be replacing all my bushes very soon - including rear sub frame, steering, sway bars, diff, control arm - how many hours work is this for a competent mechanic with a ramp? (I got the energy suspension master kit already.) I'm in Hants. Apart from SE who else would you trust to do it in the south? cheerz

Hi Guys, I've just joined the fan club of Peter at PPS, just done a top paint job on my Z and it does look exceedingly good for very little outlay. Top Bloke as well picked me up from Newcastle airport and helped to fix my Z (with the help of Macca Jaylox and ChrisC, cheers guys)when it didn't start! Anybody down south wanting some paintwork done, I would advise you to go up there! The flights from Stansted are £25!!!!!! and the quality of work and the price would be difficult to get down south! I am just about to buy a 300zx Jap import and am told it has the speed limited to 109mph. How easy is it to 'overcome' this and at what cost?

Any ideas chaps? Standard TT manual. Everytime i wash the motor i find a black gue\oil deposits all over the rear bumper. Like it has come out of the exhaust. Any ideas?

Hi there i have had a new power steering pump. Before this my hicas light was permantly on, on the dash. Now it would appear i have a leak in the system and every time the oil level drops the hicas light will come on. Anyway till i get it sorted my question is. If the light is on dose this mean the four wheel steer is disabled? I ask this as the light will flick on and off in corners and im a bit on edge about the car switching between 4 wheel steer and 2 wheel steer in the middle of the twisty bits!!!! Any one know? And is there just an easy way to turn this 4 wheel steer of because I like putting the back end out and not guessing what the four wheel…

Nah, of course not. :) However, now that I perhaps have your attention.... I have a couple of problems which I don't seem able to resolve and, so far, no-one has replied to. :( First off, I've managed to aquire a speedo convertor/delimiter which i'd like to fit to my J import. Unfortunately I do not have the wiring instructions for it. Surely someone, somewhere has had one fitted and has the instructions? Or perhaps someone can point me in the right direction? The other is one which has been asked by a few others over time and also appears not to have an answer. At the request of the wife, who also drives the Z, I had a reversing sensor fitted. However, …

waz m8 can you e-mail me regards blitz dump valves. im told mine are running slightly open all the time causing my car to run rich for which im gonna need bleed valves..........i remember you saying they could be adjusted and wondered if this would cure it instead

Looking for a suitable engine to replace mine that overheated on the M4 without any indcation or warning. Having had a new water pump cambelt service five months prior, my nissan dealer now have my Fairlady in bits and denying any fault with the water pump,but cannot explain why it over heated... Can a UK engine go into my 1990 FAIRLADY TT Z2?? Can anyone help with a replacement engine ?

hi guys!! as you know my z needs a new engine and the one i got has'nt run for two years, do u think it will b ok to use, i have been told the previous owner has been putting oil in it every now and again just to keep it from seizing what problems if any am i going to get by running this engine?? cheers dewi ap

Hi everyone, The propshaft on my NA needs replacing (i have twoZs). I can't afford a new propshaft and the 2nd hand one (which i could get from Andy Z) will be out of a TT but the problem is NAs and TTs have different propshafts so who can i go to or what should i do? very confused :( I will be grateful for any help and/or advise "AMMAR"
