I've managed to aquire a speedo convertor/delimiter which i'd like to fit to my J import. Unfortunately I do not have the wiring instructions for it. :( Does anybody have these by any chance?

My last post on this seems to have got lost in the switch to the new forum. So 'ere it is again. When I tested the resistance on my ignition coils i got readings of about 1 to 1.1 ohms. The book says it should be "approx 0.7 ohm". Is that approximate enough? It seems way out to me by 30%. What is the normal acceptable variance on these things - electrics whizzes please respond. I have a couple noises can anyone shed any light on them? 1. On cold morinings theres a knocking / jangling noise behind the dash, could it be the Struts? 2. On Cold mornings get a Whining from what sounds like the drive shaft, normal? Also the back end seems very unstable at any speed on bumpy roads. Feels like the rear wheel steering? K i wan't to check my fuel pump, pump controller, filter and the general fuel line is ok so its probably best i just check the pressure of the system at idle/ under load etc. So what gauge do i want for this and where do i connect it, i don't really want anything permanent,..... yet...;) Thanks Rob

Hello again, You will have noticed a few people have a nicelittle picture under their name like me and big mac do. You may be wondering just how they get there ;) Well I get ur answer, follow these steps and you could have your very own little picture :D User CP (top right) Edit options Change avatar create a pictureusing your favourite graphics package, and make sure it is below 50x50 pixels. Upload the file using the bottom option BINGO, ur done! Simple when you know how eh ;) :) I will see you again in the next episode..lol :D

I'm going to view a UK ZX TT (1991). The seller says that the speedo needle vibrates. Is this indicitive of anything serious or is it purely cosmetic? He also says that the LCD goes blank every so often??? Many thanks Jon

Has anyone else got the problem of the dashboard rising up! No,it's not on viagra!! Where the dashboard meets the windscreen,there's a vent.On the cockpit side of the vent the dashboard has risen up slightly and it looks awful. Is this easy to fix or is it a new dashboard! Right, thought id clear this up with everybody. Not everybody knows vbulletin. As you probably will know by now, the forum sends you LOADS of emails every time somebody posts on a thread u have posted in etc... the way to turn this off is to follow these intructions: Go into your User CP (top right) Go into 'edit options' Under 'Messaging and Notification' there is an option called Use 'Email Notification' by default?. Set this to no and submit the modofications (bottom of the page) This wont stop the emails from comign completely. To stop this go to you User CP again, and in the homepage in there, at the bottom is a section called 'Subsc…

Hi all, Like the new forum - very nice! I've a new problem on my Z TT. When pulling away slowly I've noticed a knocking/banging feeling under my seat. This is worse is the steering wheel is at full lock. It feels like it's coming from the back of the car. Anyone got any ideas please? Cheers, Andy F
