I had all the wheels balanced yesterday and went out in it last night to check to see if the vibration had gone and the bloody cruise control didn't work!!!! The light came on when I presed the dash button but not when I pressed the set button on the steering wheel. Please help!!!!! Ivan :mad:

Anybody happen to know what PCD the stud holes are on ? Also if anybody knows what the front and rear wheel offset is,or where i can find the information. The reason I ask is that I have access to a set of 18" OZ super tourismo's from a v6 clio, as they are now partners it may be they use the same stud pattern and PCD. Has any one tryed kumho tyres ive got them one my corsa and seam ok but thats slow and a bag of shat at handling so cant realy tel cos if i go into a corner over 20 mph it just rolls over and dies with the 2 foot suspension travel at the front pritty scint and dont really want to shell out another 240 quid on bridgestones my others woar out in 4k cos of my knackered bushes there on order from nissan at naffin 12 quid each for a poxy bit of rubber wi sum metal round it and want some tyres that are ok for a while any other suggestions i had toyos on before that and they lasted 8k but dont know if that could have also ben down to slight movement in bushes any one know averag…

dyno run today with the car prepped as requested by my tuner(kempower in zolder/belgium) as follows: jwt single POP, mongoose,gassed up with 98 octane fuel. result : from 273 to 335 hp on 14 psi boost. what a failure!!! this means that my otherwise smooth running ,well-behaving, non- smoking- and- free- of -suspicious- engine- behavior- TT had only some 250 hp in stock condition!!! Where did these 30 ponies run-off to ? before you start saying anything: I trust this tuner with my life,he has a solid reputation and he's done another car of mine , a 200sx s14 and it went from 200 to 245 hp...without induction kit or free exhaust, just bone stock!! Noticed tonight that my passenger side dipped beam wasnt working - am I right in thinking its an H3 bulb, and will this be OK on my J-spec? The metal surround that the bulb clips into has been earthed to the bodywork separately?

On the old site there was a section for the supply of new rear spoilers. Can anybody tell me where I can find the supplier. Do they have a link on the new site?

A mate has just got hold of a pc with windows NT on it and I he's asked me to delete that and put windows 95/me on it. The problem I have is I can't get it to boot off the floppy drive and I can't get it to exit windows into DOS. Any ideas how I can format the drive hard drive????????? Cheers Vijay

I have bought some second hand HKS bovalves and one of them has the fittings from the valve itself. A brass t-piece with one large and one small pipe, the problem is for the other side I don't have the brass t-piece !!! Does anyone have or know where I can get one ? Cheers. Olly.

At first I smelt coolant while driving my Z ( 94' 300zx TT ) went home and checked radiator for loss of coolant but it was full. went out an hour later and noticed that when I took off in first gear some kind of liquid was pouring into passenger side onto mat, it smelt exactly like coolant. went home again and saw that it was coming from this plastic container located at passenger side just above the floor. The liquid is slippery and doesn't really have a smell is a goldish colour more like water. noticed a bit on driver side aswell. but the weird thing it only pors out when I first start driving from a halt usually after I turn the car off for a while. Hello again Good news someone is interested in my 928s therefore i'm a little closer to a 300zx.I've read a little and it seems a '91 onwards would be my choice.One with T-BAR electric seats/mirrors etc i'm not sure of engine size though? I've enjoyed the 928 auto and would like an auto zx.What sort of price should i be looking for one with 50-60k on the clock? Is there an owners club that can offer cheap insurance? Finally i've not actually been in or driven one,are they as much fun as they look?Does anyone a dealer that may hold one i can test? That'll do for now

hi, try putting cruise on the other day but is not working anymore. what & how can i check to find the problem.

Nightmare Driving home from london today, and notice my breaks are failing, If I put my foot down it goes to the floor and the car slows a little bit, if I then release the peddle and push down hard I start to break, If i then release again and break they come in ok. after 10 meters off the break though this all starts again With the car off the breaks go to the floor for a few pumps and then it stays rock hard. im very confused.

i have had an induction kit and stainless exhaust fitted for some time now. but i m stuck between fitting a boost controller or going for nitrous. have any of you guys got gas on your zeds if so have you had any problems and is it as good as it sounds?

Hi guys, me again. Still got the problem with the high tickover etc. I've cleaned the PTU connectors and done an ECU reset but to no avail, still got the problem. Can anyone tell me where to find the throttle position sensor, how to clean the throttle bodies and anything else worth a try? Pictures would be a great advantage as I'm not brilliantly mechanically minded. I've tried looking on twinturbo.net, but can't access their doc's because they have a problem with their site at the mo. Cheers again.:mad:

my heater matrix has packed up and its getting chilly, has anyone attempted a DIY install? I know it is located right under the dash! I've done more or less every other job myself but not sure about this one! don't fancy paying SE £400 LABOUR! (8 hrs) thanx in advance.......
