Ive read a few articles on here regarding the centre bearing for prop and rear gearbox mounts causing a rumbling noise. I have this problem with mine and was wondering if the centre bearing is a Nissan only part and that of the rear mount. I thought the noise was eminating from the gearbox itself, but Ive been told by loads of owners now that the 5sp manual box is pretty much bullet proof. The car is a UK 1990 model and is approaching 100,00 miles. Oil has been changed religiously every 3000 miles so no probs with engine...although it does tend to idle a bit rough sometimes. Anyone any ideas on that? Anyone any ideas on cost for the parts I need and where is bes…

Bumped into the local plod last night at home, they were undercover looking out for stolen cars. Very nice chaps indeed, which is novel. Anyway I have a cat 2 immobiliser and diderly else!!!!! Im going to get a starring lock and gear stick lock. But I also want an alarm, imp not worried about it not being a cat one. Just something that will alert me in my slumber!!! Any suggestions????? Also how would I get central locking in me 300????? And has any one got an alarm that works with the central locking. As always im looking to keep the price down and don’t mind DIY kits!!!!

i know its a pointless thred but on my mark 3 supra that ime trying to sell (if any one is interested:D) the front pads needed changing and i was shocked to find that it had single pot calipers on at the front the Z has double pots at the back lol any way just thought that some one may have been as shocked i me lol its a turbo as well

Got a problem in that when the car is idling, and is completely stationary, i hear a gurling sound coming directly from in front of the dashboard. When you open the bonnet up, there is a round black circular cover (housing?) attached to the body of the car directly in front of say where the dashboard is. What is this cover for in the bonnet area and why is the gurgling sound coming from it. Any of you guys got any ideas as to the reason for this sound.Anyone else had this problem before. Does anyone know what the best thing to do about the Trim around the Window is? I Guess everyone has this problem as All 300's i've seen do... The Rubber has perished and looks sh*t. Can i buy them cheap from somewhere or is it better just to remove it? Dan

my car is in for a overall respray( same color= cherry red) and fitment of a 99oem spoiler and SE monza rear spoiler.Just to have it nice and fresh, didn't have any accident or so... I saw the front yesterday without the spoiler and noticed the water tanks just after the intercoolers; yikes!!!(btw: these IC are TINY!!!) Out the water bottles go, as i think they must inhibit the flow trough the IC's. For that reason the car shop wil make an opening, a slit really, in the oem spoiler between the wheel arch and the blinkers, just like in the SE monza front spoiler. Now the question is: where do I relocate the tank for the windshield fluid? Would a container in t…

Hi Guys , i'm new to the forum and have just (yesterday) bought a TT. Well it was born a TT (i think) but they have been either bypassed or removed. It is a 1990 2 seater..... Engine #004058 I have a few questions for you all and need to know if i have bouight a lemon... 1. It hesitates all of the time. The guy who i bought it from told me that it is the alternator that is the problem.He says its a 90amp when it should really be 110amp. Is this the case? Also when i have the AC, Full beam, Stereo, and fog lights on its even worse. Hi peeps, ok, had my Zed for 5 days now. Got my tax, 2 new goodyear F1's on the front and it's booked in with Jeff on Monday for a week to be well and truley pampered. Should be getting Cam belt, water pump, oil & filter change, Thermostat & TB clean, then it's gonna get a brake upgrade Bremo pads and discs on the front and new discs with kevlar pads on the back. New brake hoses all round, then a little tidying up of the underside of the front drivers wing. Finally some locking wheels nuts and a nice Engine clean and detail. Hi all, Can i link the pressure for plenum - before the plenum? I know the ballance bar is at the back!!! But i've run out of room for new plenum coolers at the intake. Can i link in the hard pipe to plenum inlet area? If you know what i mean. & can i cross lines from L/tub to right inlet & vise versa? harve
