I changed my Track rod end yesterday however the car still makes a clunk under tight corners or when the weight is on the drivers side. How ever the feel of the ride is better so it did need doing. All I can think of the clunk is, is the suspention. As I said it clunks when going round a corners and when I straighten up it clunks back. I can feel it in the steering wheel and on the floor. So my question is this. Where is the best place for struts? What should I go for and what do they cost aproximatly? From what I heard the Nissan ones are about £100 each which is not too far off better after market ones. So any one ideas? Thanks Stuart

I hit a badger one morning and it took away most of the n/s front spoiler and wing. The badger however just got up and walked off, probably saying to himself "I must add this to the road kills section on the badger forum, no one will believe I killed a ....... ummm I think it was a Ferrari or a Lambo or something like that". B*stard cost me £150 (insurance excess).

Hello guys, Is it worth getting an upgraded graphics card if I'm just using the pc for general home use and the internet. I don't use it to play games or anything, so is there any point?? Is windows XP much better than windows ME??? If so has anyone got a "spare" copy :) Thanks Vijay

I know that the Zed's air filter is nestled in the nose cone type bit, but which of the intakes on the front of the car actually guides air into the air box? Also, I know that the standard filter is a single one, but I was wondering if anyone has/ or has pics of a twin air filter set up? I saw a pic on a website, but I can't remember where it was. how do you find stuff that isnt on the start screen i hear people buying rubber seals and stuff but i cant fing out i want it must be just mee that is thick but ime looking for the nearside inner hicas ball jount for a price and i cant find out i go to search and it just has loads of underdrive pullys for a 240sx help please :confused: thanks

The "Nissan" and "Twin Turbo" stickers are missing off the back of my car. I've spoken to Courtesy and they have got the sticker but its either black or grey. My car is black and (unless I'm wrong) the sticker was white originally. They told me that in USA the sticker was either one of these 2 colours, they had no white. Any ideas? The black cars do have a white sticker don't they, or am I imagining this? Thanks

I will be buying a 300zx very soon but I have a question, I have been told to stay away from manual zx's as they eat gearboxes on a regular basis, then I was told that the auto's do and the manuals don't. Which is the best one to go for. Any help on this would be gratefull as I have a choice of two car's one manual and one auto, they are both very clean so I don't want to miss out Thanks

woops, autumn is here, just got a bit sideways round a roundabout. Love the way the zed responds to an arse out situation, quick snap of the steering wheel and she's back in line, don't try and get out of ambulances way on a wet roundabout in 2nd gear :) love it

my outside temp gauge has just recently been showing -80, when i first got it it was showing correctly, guess its time for those winter warmers, JD and coke should do ok, any one else had similar prob and cured it

Had my 91 Z TT for - ooh about 6 days now, a UK supermodel with big curves, 58000 miles, FSH. Dream of 3 years finally come true. I have a couple of probs I'd like to sort though. First, after a weekend of boosting around on Optimax, it's started to idle around 1800 rpm some of the time - sometimes it doesn't. Previous posts suggest resetting the ECU and cleaning stuff, so I guess this isn't normal. Anythink simple I can try? as I am, when it comes to looking under the bonnet. Secondly, headlights. Bulbs OK, Fuse OK, but offside headlight, only the 'rectangular' light shines, no round light. On high beam, everything on the offside (except light on bumper) goes out! …

:mad: I was utterly gutted the other day when i lost to an RS Turbo.. i was fine in 1st and 2nd, but when i went for third, my engine seems to just rev, especially when the turbo kicks in around 3K, however the wheels dont seem to keep up, and i hit the rev limiter without actually going any faster..i now find i have to push the acc. pedal down slowly else the revs hit the roof... 4th and 5th gear are ridiculous.. there is no point in trying to acclerate to over-take, as the engine onlys revs..without the car gaining speed.. Just a query really - does anyone on here re-spray cars? I have a bumper which needs to go on my car and stop cluttering up my lounge, but it's currently black...and my baby's red. :)
