now my clutch & lightwieght flywheel are in. also mongoose zorst & jwt conefilter average 5.3 secs, best time of 5.2 :cool: well pleased :) just got my chip to fit now & boost upgrade to do & i'll do some more.

I was at PPS putting the interior back in the "Gay Spaceship" today. Hardly driven the Shed-X this year but made it to Trax only to watch Macca have his AFM go tits up! So drove the car off the drive to go to the Clarkey San meet and the drivers side window went west! Guide pin sheered and meant leaving the car on the drive for a further three weeks with the car cover on. Got that sorted this week and cheaply even at a Nelson! while i was parked, not done too much damage thankfully. got details of car that done it from a witness. only problem was I was parked on double yellows at the time (2 mins while dropping a vid back to blockbuster's where everyone parks at night) will this make any difference if i tell plod?? anyone know??

Hey guys'n'gals, The boss and I can't decide what to do for dinner tonite. Can't be a*sed to cook. Don't fancy an Indian. Should we go to the local seafood bar? WTF is the best way to get these b*****d subframe bushes out. The poly bushes I have are energy suspension and they recommend pressing them out., but i don';t have a press. How about drilling them? Need fairly urgent as car is in bits at mo. Cheers.

Andy, you are a star mate! The switch was the only thing causing my windows not to open after getting them shorted out with the rain through the window. It all works great now!!...They go up and down now..How novel! Laters all Chris

I would like some information on what valid entries you have on your V5. I am interested in the following 2 fields, and I have shown what I have on my V5: -Make: NISSAN; -Model/Type: 2-AXLE-RIGID BODY COUPE I am in contact with DVLA and they have kindly offered to change this to something appropriate, but do not have 300ZX as a keyword on their database - the suggestion was that the car perhaps was not sold in the UK. So I am particularly interested in knowing what you original UK spec owners have on your V5 - please can you help and let me know these 2 fields and confirming that your car is the UK model? Ok Z has never revved over 5.5K revs. Recently wont start at all. To check there was fuel pressure today i disconnected the fuel line after the filter and KAPOW! no fuel came out. I even turned the ignition on, no fuel came out. Even tried cranking...no fuel. So anyone got a fuel pump for sale or could it be something else to do with the fuel system? Thanks Rob

Cheers Andy, The switch has arrived. Its in a beter condition than my old one..lol. And quicker than Nissan UK. Ill put it in over the weekend and let you know if it works ok. Only thing Im worried about is the wiring . As you know when the switch went in/op it was because I left the window open and water got inside the switch causing a short. I just hope this fixes it! Some help required here, just bought a new base unit to replace my ageing P2 266, and I was thinking about the Hard drives. The new PC will be running Win 98 SE, and the current one is Win 95 - is there any way I can copy the old HD data to the new HD, or even put the old HD in the new PC? Don't want to lose all my programs/documents. Any help greatly appreciated

Anyone ever bought the CD rom advertised in Courtesy Parts in the USA. I think its well worth 70 Dollars but has anyone ever bought it, are there that many differences in the USA 300's to make it not a worthwhile purchase or are there any places over here to get a copy of the CD. Cheers John Crisp

Any ideas, Got a 1991 TT 2+2 Jap. Don't seem to be getting any hot air out of my heater or climate. Keep going up and down with the temperature controls but there doesnt seem to be any change up the temps but the aircons working?????? Just had a 60,000 service requiring belts and waterpump change, don't suppose this may have something to do with it?

For all you guys that have added extra bodywork to your 300's, via body kits which ones are any good? Are there any to be avoided in terms of wuality, ease of fitment?? Have had a scan thru all the usual sites and particular styling is down to individual taste but I dont wanna lash out hard earned on something I could have knocked together in my lunch hour!!!

Hi there! Im new to 300zx's, my previous cars being a 280bhp pulsar and a 335bhp stg2 cossie. I decided to stick with RWD (loads more fun) I recently acquired a K plate 300zx(jap spec) and don't want to leave it standard. A couple of questions if i may. 1. I want to TOTALLY overhaul engine (racing pistons etc). I need a specialist tuner but cannot find anyone on the net, any idea's? 2. I only have about £6000 to spend on modding engine + car.
