Well Ive finally taken the poor old Zed off the road, major work here we come! Oh how I love my Fiesta 1.6S, shame its manual but you cant have everything! Will I get everything done, how can i hide the Visa statements from Mrs Big, will I beat Duffman Hoffman to the finish (bloody hope so!), where will i fit the NOS Bottles? Is pink candy really a manly colour for a Zed? Will jaylox ever get me Carbon bonnet, how good are Abbey Motorsport? Which is better auto or manual? Do I dare get it dynoed afterwards in the presence of Warren? If I take longer than 6 months can i have a job at SE! Will I fit in the bloody Fiesta? Its all too much, Im going to lie down…

Ok Z has never revved over 5.5K revs. Recently wont start at all. To check there was fuel pressure today i disconnected the fuel line after the filter and KAPOW! no fuel came out. I even turned the ignition on, no fuel came out. Even tried cranking...no fuel. So anyone got a fuel pump for sale or could it be something else to do with the fuel system? Thanks Rob

Cheers Andy, The switch has arrived. Its in a beter condition than my old one..lol. And quicker than Nissan UK. Ill put it in over the weekend and let you know if it works ok. Only thing Im worried about is the wiring . As you know when the switch went in/op it was because I left the window open and water got inside the switch causing a short. I just hope this fixes it! Some help required here, just bought a new base unit to replace my ageing P2 266, and I was thinking about the Hard drives. The new PC will be running Win 98 SE, and the current one is Win 95 - is there any way I can copy the old HD data to the new HD, or even put the old HD in the new PC? Don't want to lose all my programs/documents. Any help greatly appreciated

Anyone ever bought the CD rom advertised in Courtesy Parts in the USA. I think its well worth 70 Dollars but has anyone ever bought it, are there that many differences in the USA 300's to make it not a worthwhile purchase or are there any places over here to get a copy of the CD. Cheers John Crisp

Any ideas, Got a 1991 TT 2+2 Jap. Don't seem to be getting any hot air out of my heater or climate. Keep going up and down with the temperature controls but there doesnt seem to be any change up the temps but the aircons working?????? Just had a 60,000 service requiring belts and waterpump change, don't suppose this may have something to do with it?

For all you guys that have added extra bodywork to your 300's, via body kits which ones are any good? Are there any to be avoided in terms of wuality, ease of fitment?? Have had a scan thru all the usual sites and particular styling is down to individual taste but I dont wanna lash out hard earned on something I could have knocked together in my lunch hour!!!

Hi there! Im new to 300zx's, my previous cars being a 280bhp pulsar and a 335bhp stg2 cossie. I decided to stick with RWD (loads more fun) I recently acquired a K plate 300zx(jap spec) and don't want to leave it standard. A couple of questions if i may. 1. I want to TOTALLY overhaul engine (racing pistons etc). I need a specialist tuner but cannot find anyone on the net, any idea's? 2. I only have about £6000 to spend on modding engine + car. Several bits going cheap......................... I've got a pair of gadgets that are designed to fit inside the doors of a 300ZX. Its basically a speaker mount with built in amplifier (made from black plastic). Some Jap spec cars have them. I think they are Bose if I remember rightly. If anyone wants them then you can have the pair for £10 plus postage (£6), if necessary. The speakers have been taken out, although the speakers mounts are round and a standard size. For some reason i have got a set of 6.5" wheels all round my jap import. It does make it quite fun to drive, but a bit dangerous some times. Have got 205's fitted at mo but need to replace very soon. Will larger width tyres fit on or do i have to stick with this size. (Can't afford to buy larger wheels - due to upgrading shocks and intercoolers)

What is required in this service and roughly how much does it cost?

Just fitting the above, I have the +ve, earth, RPM & Throttle pos, but I just need the wire that goes from the Air Flow meter to the ECU so it can interrupt the signal Anyone got any ideas?? Looking at the pin outs it must be 26, 27 or possibly 37 Eric(Lymon) you must know, you're the Z electronics guru ;) Cheers Jay
