  1. yes, it will definitely help, I was just wondering from a selling point of view why you wouldn't add correct photos in of your stock. I understand you may not have it physically on your shelves, but I personally would google search an image of the part and upload that rather than using a photo of a full car
  2. Cool thank you. I'll look into it!
  3. The car is still in KPH, but I have MPH clocks in it, I have a converter that I haven't fitted yet. From memory I don't think the car has ever been converted and the loom is intact, but I'll need to confirm that. My two week holiday is starting at the end of this week, so I'll have a few "zed fixing" days I think!
  4. While driving to work yesterday, I looked down to see the speedo say I was doing 62mph. As I was in a 30 and in a line of cars, I thought it was strange. When I stopped to give way at a roundabout, it stayed at 62. I did google the issue, but everyones posts/threads seem to be the speedo stuck at zero. Is this to do with the speed sensor on the gearbox? The steering, is not heavy and seems to adjust its self between slow and fast driving.
  5. Drove to work yesterday and although the heater setting was set to 18, the outside thermometer was was saying -86 and it was blowing very hot air. No matter what I tried, it would only blow hot! Has anyone had this before?
  6. Everything listed has a picture of a yellow zed? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_ssn=wwwisicarcom&_armrs=1&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=300zx&rt=nc
  7. Welcome and good luck! We are all here with advice and help if you ever need
  8. I'm not, but my stepfather is M0ABT. He has been doing it for years, got aerials all over the garden and radios connected to computers!
  9. "If you haven’t heard, Mitsubishi isn’t doing well right now. The Alliance it’s a member of, along with Renault and Nissan, announced late last month a new roadmap that should help the companies reduce competition amongst themselves while focusing on products and markets where these brands do best. For Mitsubishi, that’s not Japan and the US. Instead, it’ll likely pull back from those markets, reducing the chances of the automaker ever resurrecting the 3000GT for today." Unfortunately, its just a photoshopper with too much time...
  10. here is a list of all the cars that they make: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XMODS I believe gen1 bodies only fit on gen1 chassis's, gen2 on gen2 etc
  11. That doesnt seem too much, although I know nothing about that process!
  12. Is that expensive? I would like to have a go at rebuilding an engine one day. Im getting more confident at doing things myself and doing a complete engine with upgraded parts does seem like fun...
  13. Im thinking a morning meet up at Brighton, a drive around the local area (route to be decided) then a pub lunch before saying goodbye?
  14. Yes! Brighton or Eastbourne or both. There are some good roads around here
  15. Born and grew up in Alfriston, now in Eastbourne.
  16. We are not that far apart, I'm Eastbourne...
  17. And for those that miss motorsport, these are great fun. They have several classes to watch including rally, stock car and road racing. Ash and I watched and bet shots on the winners. Kept us entertained for hours!
  18. I dont hate those black wheels, but OEMs are excellent!
  19. My series 1 PTU just died, no reason for it to died, one day it worked, the next it didnt. The car would crank, but not fire. Got myself a series 2 and never had a problem since! (touch wood...) If the car has been standing for a while, has a family of mice moved in a eaten through some wires? Crazy, but has been know to happen...
  20. Congratulations guys! Its our 10th next month, so planning for that at the moment
  21. Are you using a series 1 PTU? They are know to fail (mine did) and the car will turn over but will not catch. Try a series 2 or different PTU
