Magnificent Motors - Eastbourne 22nd - 23rd May 2021
Tickets are now available to book, however I am trying to get us in as a club otherwise we will be parked all over the show and not together. They are asking for a few details: 1) how many cars (i put 10 so far) 2) Length of space in metres (10m) 3) Width of space in metres (10m) I think thats enough space for 5 cars in 2 rows, if not I can request more, especially if more people confirm

300ZX TT - A18GCK
The subframe is all ready to go, but still waiting on the arms from driftworks, January hopefully! I haven't done the thermostat as been pulling double shifts over the Christmas period, I have Sunday/Monday off, so hopefully will do it then. I have the service manual so hopefully won't screw it up!

I like my up and over spoilers because I think they look cool and remind me of the posters I had on my walls as a kid! I like the way mine echo the shape of the cabin and almost extend the sides of the cars in my mind, When I look I see something almost like this: and that is friggin' cool....! Also the last reason I like up and over spoilers is because Im a complete kid inside and I want to feel like im 7 again when I jump in a sports car!??? At the end of the day, its your car, you do what you want to it. Being different makes the world go round.... embrace it!

Magnificent Motors - Eastbourne 22nd - 23rd May 2021
So I've clicked on the "enter your car club" option and it says more information will be available soon about entering your club. I'll keep us updated on this thread as more information becomes available. There is an opportunity to join the cavalcade, a short drive along the seafront from sovereign roundabout to the showground. It is fun and you travel with other car in a line, do people want to do that as well?

Magnificent Motors - Eastbourne 22nd - 23rd May 2021
I have added this into the calendar on the forum. We can apply now for either individual car entry or as a club. I will be free that weekend so will be attending. If we could get a club entry like Simply Japanese that would be excellent. Link below: https://www.visiteastbourne.com/magnificent-motors "Magnificent Motors is established as one of the biggest FREE motoring spectaculars on the south coast. With more than 1000 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses, and more expected to display on Eastbourne's Western Lawns and Wish Tower Slopes with live music entertainment in tow throughout the weekend! The long established free motoring event regularly attracts interest from over 40 car clubs across Sussex, Kent and further afield, with the likes of Aston Martin Owners Club Area 16, East Sussex BSA Owners Club, East Sussex Stag Owners Club, Ford Consul Capri & Classic Club and many more gracing Eastbourne’s green lawns." Some pictures from 2019 (it was cancelled in 2020)

Brexit Poll
It's only taken four years, cost billions and will cost billions more. Yay. All for a blue passport now made in France. Yay.

A sensible tweet from The Donald.....??
Shame no one is following the rules though. People from Hastings are just driving to Eastbourne to do their shopping and go to pubs etc. Im sure its the same all around our Tier 2 bubble that is Eastbourne, Brighton and West Sussex. Our buses were heaving yesterday with Christmas shoppers

Lift kit? Chunky tyres? LED roof light bar, snorkel? Looks cool! (or will do when you finally get it!)

Fuel tank retaining straps
I have this job coming up soon, was it difficult? Im guessing the fuel pump/sender unit needs unplugging, straps unbolting and it just falls straight on top of you?

No hot air from car heater
It doesnt overheat, just gets to temp very quickly and stay normal for my 11 mile commute

No hot air from car heater
Cool, thanks. I'll drive it tomorrow and see. Would that make the car engine warm up quicker than usual. I've noticed I get to normal running temperature quicker than usual when going to work.

No hot air from car heater
So for the past week the car hasn't been giving out any heat, Its been off the road since beginning of October due to failing its MOT. I finally got a pass and started driving it again to find it wont blow hot air. This may have been a longer problem as I wouldn't have noticed it during the summer, it was definatly warm last winter. Using the service manual (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=125) I found the sensors 52 & 55 have open circuits leading me to diagnostic 6 & 12. I decided to start at 6 and got stuck, (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=142) I cant seem to find where the sensor actually is. I was on my back on a fully reclined drivers seat with my head by the pedals (much to the amusement of my neighbours) looking at the ducting and found possibly a duct with a sensor with a two wire plug that I cant seem to separate. There is also a plug leading into the same loom as the aforementioned plug that has three wires but no where to plug into. These two plugs seem to match to the diagrams here: http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=165 (The in-vehicle sensor lower & foot duct sensor) but the diagram of the shape of the ducts don't seem to match or the location of the sensors on the actual ducts. There also seems to be a short piece or ducting missing from the centre area of the dash leading to the duct that I mentioned. The is also a rubber hose (maybe 1" diameter) not plugged into anything. The duct should attach to the side of what looks like the motors/mechanisms that move the flaps that change air flow and air temperature. I have attached a link to a short video I took to show the area of the missing duct, the three wire plug missing something to plug into and the two wire plug. I have done the usual check coolant level etc and have done the actuator test and all the motors seem to move the flaps when told to following this: (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=119) so I don't think its jammed in the cold position. All the other sensors are working fine and the only two fault codes are 2 & 5 which are lower and floor open circuits. I think they have become unplugged or not even plugged back in after a garage has done some work. Could someone explain to me where those two sensors are located so I can try and plug them and test them? Thanks

URGENT HELP PLEASE: installing Conzult on Win 10 upgrade problem!
My conzult on windows 10 will only load if plugged into the car. If it detects no usb to the car it errors before even loading the software. If laptop is connected to car it work totally fine. I cant remember what error it kept giving me though, had to google it to work it out!
