  1. I guess ill be getting one soon as my current passport runs out in 2021 I think... ?
  2. Is it more blue than black or more black than blue? I haven't actually seen one in the flesh
  3. It's only taken four years, cost billions and will cost billions more. Yay. All for a blue passport now made in France. Yay.
  4. Im not into 4x4s, but I like that, very cool!
  5. Shame no one is following the rules though. People from Hastings are just driving to Eastbourne to do their shopping and go to pubs etc. Im sure its the same all around our Tier 2 bubble that is Eastbourne, Brighton and West Sussex. Our buses were heaving yesterday with Christmas shoppers
  6. Lift kit? Chunky tyres? LED roof light bar, snorkel? Looks cool! (or will do when you finally get it!)
  7. I have this job coming up soon, was it difficult? Im guessing the fuel pump/sender unit needs unplugging, straps unbolting and it just falls straight on top of you?
  8. It doesnt overheat, just gets to temp very quickly and stay normal for my 11 mile commute
  9. Cool, thanks. I'll drive it tomorrow and see. Would that make the car engine warm up quicker than usual. I've noticed I get to normal running temperature quicker than usual when going to work.
  10. So for the past week the car hasn't been giving out any heat, Its been off the road since beginning of October due to failing its MOT. I finally got a pass and started driving it again to find it wont blow hot air. This may have been a longer problem as I wouldn't have noticed it during the summer, it was definatly warm last winter. Using the service manual (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=125) I found the sensors 52 & 55 have open circuits leading me to diagnostic 6 & 12. I decided to start at 6 and got stuck, (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=142) I cant seem to find where the sensor actually is. I was on my back on a fully reclined drivers seat with my head by the pedals (much to the amusement of my neighbours) looking at the ducting and found possibly a duct with a sensor with a two wire plug that I cant seem to separate. There is also a plug leading into the same loom as the aforementioned plug that has three wires but no where to plug into. These two plugs seem to match to the diagrams here: http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=165 (The in-vehicle sensor lower & foot duct sensor) but the diagram of the shape of the ducts don't seem to match or the location of the sensors on the actual ducts. There also seems to be a short piece or ducting missing from the centre area of the dash leading to the duct that I mentioned. The is also a rubber hose (maybe 1" diameter) not plugged into anything. The duct should attach to the side of what looks like the motors/mechanisms that move the flaps that change air flow and air temperature. I have attached a link to a short video I took to show the area of the missing duct, the three wire plug missing something to plug into and the two wire plug. I have done the usual check coolant level etc and have done the actuator test and all the motors seem to move the flaps when told to following this: (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=119) so I don't think its jammed in the cold position. All the other sensors are working fine and the only two fault codes are 2 & 5 which are lower and floor open circuits. I think they have become unplugged or not even plugged back in after a garage has done some work. Could someone explain to me where those two sensors are located so I can try and plug them and test them? Thanks
  11. So finally got this sorted, Thanks Andrew for the diagram! Got it all wired up and can now charge things in the car!
  12. My conzult on windows 10 will only load if plugged into the car. If it detects no usb to the car it errors before even loading the software. If laptop is connected to car it work totally fine. I cant remember what error it kept giving me though, had to google it to work it out!
  13. Im starting to see a theme in your choice of music videos!
  14. Im guessing you are talking about the Z31? This is mainly a z32 forum, so knowledge of the z31 may be limited, however someone may know an answer to your question....
  15. I love those supras, my friend has a couple and I do enjoy going for adrive in them. They look so cool, retro and 80's... I just noticed the guy that turned up in a Nissan duke?!
  16. MAfs go bad by just looking at them funny, I had one that passed all the voltage tests, so I passed it of as working fine. Tried everything else, still didnt fix the problem. Went back to the MAF, replaced it and the problem went away. Can you borrow one to test on the car?
  17. I look at this picture and think to myself.... "I want one of them.... want one of them.... and one of them.... had one of them.... want one of those......"
  18. I havent, It is going into the shop in a couple of weeks and as its 30 years old, I thought it might be a good job to do along with all the other jobs! However didnt expect the price of some cable to be so much. Ill take a look when its in the shop and work out a plan. Thanks for all the help!
  19. Yes, you are right, Appologies if offense was taken by any comments on either side of the argument. Does show how polarising this debate still is though!
  20. Completely agree, look at this pandemic, three reported cases of PPE contracts being given to ministers or ministers friends companies without the proper procedure, in one case a company that had never dealt with PPE in its life. Or the ferry company that didn't own any ferry's.... These are just ones that we know about....bring on the Keir I say...
  21. That's because they still own thier own airlines unlike us who sold it to the Spanish. Dartford bridge is owned by the French, half of Newhaven in Sussex is owned by the French. We keep letting money hungry Tory's sell off our countries assets and then moan the country has no money. Look at the Shetlands they saved all their oil money and only used the interest, now they have amazing facilities, residents get a dividend and they still only use the interest. Thatcher spunked our cash on specials business deals with other Tory croneys. We will be the ones going cap in hand back to the EU because we screwed it up. This virus will just make it happen quicker as the economy is already in the tank and we can't ask the EU for help anymore.... Commence debate! ?
  22. Ive been through the manual download section, found that I need three cables to replace, cant seem to find the part numbers though, could any one help? The hand brakes on both of mine are terrible and definatly want to sort them out. When I google hand brake cables, everywhere seems to be out of stock. Also on one of the cars, it only seems to work (barely) on one side. Is that the cable or would I need to replace the drum shoes?
  23. Two things from that video: 1) I thought my pc sound was broken, whacked up my speakers and then deafen myself when there was talking and 2) I need a 300zx model that big in my life! I have had an image of the proto on my desktop for a day now and I have to say, the front is growing on me too. I actually thing im starting to like it. That nismo version is a fan render, but looks very nice too
