So pissed off...
What's the world coming too? So many people where hoods nowadays. At about 1pm on Saturday when the sun was at its peak, I still saw some chavs wearing hoods! I think they eat, sleep and sh*t with them on. lol. Really sorry to hear about your car mate? How much will the insurance be? You would probably get that filled in and re-sprayed for under £200. Your insurance premium may go up if you claim?

Bromley Car Pageant
Hi all, I went to the Bromley Car Pageant on Sunday and was very upset. I didnt see one 300zx! I saw plenty of Supra's, Skylines, Honda NSX's, Nobles, Clio V6s, Ferraris, TVRs etc. But not one 300zx. I was contemplating taking mine but I didnt like the idea of people smearing their greasy chip fat fingers over my car! Oh well, maybe I will enter next year.

spark plugs...
I got platinum and are fine! Dont go for anything cheaper or your car will start mis-firing after 3 months or so. Plus Platinum plugs should be good for 20-30k mikes!

Petrol Pump Problems
Thanks guys I find that by pulling the the pump head out does help but it still cuts out. I must hold the trigger down half way otherwise it keeps cutting out. If the pump is fully in its dame right impossible! Next time, I will try and hold the pump at an angle as suggested by T-Pot. Many thanks

Fast and Furious Tokyo drift clip
Just got back from cinema! I rather enjoyed the film! Better than I expected. 7/10. When I first entered the cinema, there was an over whelming site of baseball caps, burberry outfits, and an over-powering oder of joop aftershave. Yep, you guessed it, the cinema was full of chavs! Anyway, apart from the chavs in the cinema, drueling over what they will never have and wishing they were home playing Gran Turismo, I enjoyed the film and it will definately be added to my DVD collection! :D

Petrol Pump Problems
Hi Guys, I nearly always use the same petrol garage, a BP garage just round the corner from where I live. I have noticed that when I fill up my car with BP ultimate the petrol pump keeps clicking as if my petrol tank is full. Every time I get petrol, im fighting with it to get it to work properly. More often than not, I have to gentlty sqeeze the trigger in order for it to work, but takes ages to fill up more car! I have filled up elsewhere ages ago and didnt have these problems. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Would it be their pumps or something to do with my petrol filler?

My New PC - ATI Radeon x1600 pro
I was only using the old version (3dmark01) to compare it to my old PC as my old one was too old to run 3dmark05. I did try 3dmark05 and scored 4100 But as you say, they're only numbers! :D

My New PC - ATI Radeon x1600 pro

My New PC - ATI Radeon x1600 pro
I wanted to upgrade my PC to reasonable spec at a reasonable cost. I also stayed with my 120GB ATA100 (100mb/s) hard drive. I could have gone for the SATA 150mb/s drive but again its more money! I paid £280 for this lot: Athlon 64 3500+ Gigabyte GAK8NS-939 motherboard 1GB RAM DDR 400 ATI Radeon x1600 512MB PRO (BARGAIN) I already had a new Antec Power supply, SB Live sound card, NEC DVD-RW, Sony CD/RW, Sorround sound speakers with sub etc. So I only needed the main components! Its all running sweet!

japanese years
Mine had its cam belt changed. I have a metal label with the date on it, which is 17/11 (which would be Nov 2005). The mileage is engraved on the metal plate also, which is in kilometres!

Tomorrow I Will Mostly Be.........
Yep mine is showing crome now. Where would I get new wiper arms from?
-
japanese years
The Japs use different dates to everyone else. It goes YEAR/MONTH/DAY. However, their years are 88 years behind so you got to add 88! Confusing I know!
-
japanese years
I believe its 88. For example, 18/05/01 is the same as 2006 May 01 (18+88=106, which is 2006).

My New PC - ATI Radeon x1600 pro
Its definately not the RAM as its made by Crucial and comes with a lifetime guarentee. I checked their website and is compatible with my motherboard. Also, it is at the correct speed, which is 200MHz Double Date Rate (400MHz) PC3200. The x1600 graphics card is the best card I have found in the x1000 series that supports AGP x8. All the higher models are now the new PCI format. I havent tried it with any proper games yet, gonna install Halflife 2 and Halflife 2 episode one tonight, which I know will work fine as it did on my last PC. I will also try running the F.E.A.R demo, which was a bit notchy on my last PC!

My New PC - ATI Radeon x1600 pro
I just built another PC last night. My Old PC (I built in 2003): Athlon XP 2200+ 1GB RAM DDR 266MHz 120GB HDD ATA100 Ati Radeon 9600 128 PRO My New PC (built last night, finished installing software at 1:30am) Athlon 64 3500+ 1GB RAM DDR 400 120GB HDD ATA100 ATI Radeon x1600 512MB PRO My old PC scored 9000 points in 3dMark2001 where my new PC scored 17500 points. Even though this is a vast improvement I was hoping for over 20000 points. Im wondering if this could be because of the graphics card. I got it for £100 which is a bargain and does deliver great performance for a low price. Does anyone else have this card?

350Z or S15 Sylvia?
I was speaking to a mechanic from Nissan a couple of weeks ago. He said Renault have bought out Nissan by 51%. I know Renault and Nissan have joined but I thought Renault only bought a small piece of Nissan? This mechanic did tell me that for all the new Nissans, they now require all new tools as they are using Renault engines etc. If this is true then I feel that is very sad news. He was only a junior mechanic though and so took everything he said with a pinch of salt! I believe the 350Z was built before Renault got involved so the 350Z still gets my vote! Why do the French have to meddle? Also, the New Nissan GTR is due out next year, which is based on the Skyline. http://www.automotivearticles.com/123/nissan_infiniti_gtr_r35_r36_prototype.shtml It doesnt have the classic 'RB26DETT' engine, but instead a 3 litre V6 twin turbo. A bit like our Zeds :D

Gearchange slow
Much would a new manual gearbox cost to be fitted? Would the clutch get changed at the same time?
