  1. Ebay sports cats: Magnaflow Round Sports Cat 300 Cell Universal TGSC2 Sports Catalyst High Flow What diameter would I need? My car is standard except for the 3" Katimoto cat back system!
  2. Yeah, mine is 1995 model and am worried about the MOT. I think they are around £250 each but not sure! If you find any suitable let me know. Perhaps we could do a group buy?
  3. Another Clicky This link compares standard cats with sports catalysts. A standard cat allows an open area of around 60%, where a sports cat allows an open area of around 80%. So yes the back pressure will be increased but not as much as a decat would!
  4. Hi guys I know there is a lot of talk about whether to decat or not. However, I dont know if I want to risk de-catting mine incase the tubs go. Is it really worth it for an extra 10 bhp and risk a £1500 payout for new tubs? Why not just concentrate on good induction, and boost controller instead? I am thinking about getting sports catalysts! Surely, they should give some exta BHP, shouldnt damage the tubs, and shouldnt cause MOT problems! Or is it just wishful thinking? Clicky What is everyones opinions on Sports Catalysts? Has anyone got them? Any recommendations?
  5. I would like an Aston martin DB9 Vanquish as my day to day car! Perhaps a koenigsegg as my weekend car! Or maybe a Bugatti Veyron
  6. Hi Guys, The picture below, in the passenger footwell, is that the car's ECU? How easy is to replace and what should I go for? Do I need to get it professionally mapped? How much am I looking at?
  7. I lost about 2 and a half stone in about 6 months. I did my own thing! This is what I did: Cut out all sweets/choc bars etc during the week. You can treat yourself over the weekend, but not too much! Breakfast: Cereal of your choice Lunch: Fruit (normally one apple and a small bunch of grapes) Dinner: Normal dinner of your choice but watch the desert! (Sunday: A fat mans fry up :hyper: ) If you get hungry during the day, get some snack a jacks. Especially Salt n Vinegar. They're yum! :D Also, lots of exercise. I would goto the gym about 3 times a week and do about 30 mins on the cross trainer and about 10 mins of bike/running machine/rowing machine! However, when I didnt exercise I still lost weight but there comes a point when you lose no more and you must start exercising otherwise you get nowhere! :nana2:
  8. Ive got 5 numbers twice in a syndicate, winning a total of approx £2000 each time, which worked out about £400 each!
  9. Just got email from him. He said he's been away and I should receive CD over next few days
  10. Probably Spiderman
  11. My new TT LWB: What do you think?
  12. I believe the old speed trap detectors are illegal, the ones that detect by radar which never worked! I had one and they were rubbish! They were around a couple of years ago. However, the new GPS ones are perfectly legal and are brilliant! :x:
  13. I joined over a week ago and have not been given a membership number!
  14. Apparently carrots used to be purple before they were genetically modified to be orange!
  15. Hi guys, I bought a 300zx TT last week. In that time I have fitted a new stereo, 4 new speakers and a direct power feed from battery to run my origin b2 speed trap detector :x: I have also paid for a Clifford 650 to be fitted, which has now been done. Not bad for a bank holiday weekend's worth of work :p Here's a pic: The car came with Tein Coilovers, Stillen 17" alloys, Defi guages, Blitz turbo timer and twin Kakimoto exhausts with cats and a bomex rear spoiler. It's a really nice car and am very pleased with it! The car turns so many heads, I just cant stop smiling! I am now considering future plans for the car. What modifications does everyone suggest? I was thinking of getting decats or sports cats, one of Smithy's dual cone induction kits, an uprated ECU (dont know what one) and a boost controller (again, I dont know what one). Obviously, this we all be done over time! What would a safe boost be when using a boost controller. Would 0.9 bar be about right? Or could it safely run 1 bar? I dont want to stress the turbos or engine! Your recommendations on modifications and boost settings would be appreciated :hyper:
  16. I dont think I can get a Paypal refund as I think they only refund items over £20. This CD I won on ebay cost £5.
  17. Just thought I would warn fellow 300zx owners. I bought a Nissan 300zx modifications installation CD from ebay from a seller called 'evolutiontech786' Here is the link Do not buy from him as I have paid and have not received, nor have I had any emails from him. It has now been 2 weeks!
  18. Many thanks I have stripped the car completely today and inspected his wiring. He has done an OK job. As I was at it, I have fitted 4 new speakers and a new head unit. :D (Has taken me 20 hours this weekend to strip the car and put back, fitting new head unit etc) I have checked the CDL and there is a connector with 4 wires. Two of which are blue. All these wires WERE going to the doors motor. The two blue wires have been snipped and are now being fed to a new motor which has been installed. I disconnected the two blue wires and connected them back to how they were. However, the CDL still doesnt work. So something has gone wrong with the original motor or something. I have checked all the fuses and all is OK. I put the two blue wires back to the new motor. The CDL works fine via the Clifford remote but not by the key or the door switch.
  19. Thanks for this Paul and thanks for the manual. I let you know how I get on!
  20. Hi mate This is great. I have PM'd you :D Do you have a circuit diagram of how to wire this actuator into the CDL? Or some sort of instructions? The alarm fiiter said he is no longer going into Nissan's relay in the CDL, instead he fitted his own. Why I dont know. This is why the door switch and key no longer works the CDL. Im taking the car back to him to finish the job on Tuesday and it'll be good to hand him some easy to follow instructions to follow  He's spent 12 hours on it now and he's gonna have it all day Tuesday, so that will be about 20 hours. That must be a record :x:
  21. Hi mate, With Cliffords Turbo timer, is it correct that the car stays on for 3 minutes EVERYTIME you turn off? Do you have any user control?
  22. Unfortunately I have already paid. I do now have the Directed certificate, which is the main thing. Thanks to 'Billynomates' for the circuit diagram, my brother and I should now be able to check everything as my brother is a electronics guru.
  23. Hi guys, I have just had a Clifford 650 fitted. Wow, has it caused some problems! Its not the alarm, but the fitter. Granted, he has worked very hard but I think this was his first Clifford install. He is an approved Clifford fitter but has just taken over from the previous shop. Firstly, I took the car to the shop at 9am sharp. He was on time and I left the car in his capable hands. I came to collect the car after work, which was about 5:30pm. To my surprise he wasnt finished. In fact, far from finished! He said to come back in an hour. So I spent about an hour in Halfrauds to help the time go by. Anyway, I went to collect the car, again he was far from finished. By now, it was about 6:30pm. I ended up waiting until 8:30pm before he gave up. He said to bring the car back the next day. The alarm was all fitted and all the doors, boot and engine compartment are all wired up to the alarm. However, he was having problems with the immobiliser, the starter motor was still working. We think its because the starter motor is getting power from my blitz turbo timer. Any ideas? Also, my central locking is now not working. It only works by the Clifford remote, not by the key or inner door switch. He said he had to bypass it. He said, when the alarm has been configured properly, the doors will automatically lock when I start the car and automatically unlock when I turn off the car. Anyway, has anyone else had a Clifford fitted? How does yours work related to mine? My main questions are: 1) Does the Clifford's immobiliser work with your existing Turbo Timer? (i.e is the starter motor working or dead?) 2) Does the central locking work by your key and inner door switch? 3) Does anyone have a circuit diagram of the Clifford 650? (or know where I can get one?) Thanks Colin
  24. I tried Hyper-Performance and they quoted me £2500
