Correct plugs for a zed running higher boost are NGK pfr6b-11b = plat available from smithy in traders sec, i personally went from iridium to plats. some peeps use copper plugs as well. do a search for spark plugs will get a lot of info.

theres a post on here which shows the differences on core lengths and from that im deffinitely staying with the reccomended plats

Have found irridium to be a Big no no in any turbo car, the tips actually hold heat and can lead to pre det when running high boost. I use coppers as a personal choice but plats will serve you just as good.

Thanks for getting back to me guys. I have been on the search on and for spark plugs and don't know why but something is saying to me I should go for platinum. I think its the sound of it :D but just needed suggestions on which fellow zedders prefer. I have found some NGK platinum ones on ebay going for £49.99. Will give it a look in more detail and take it from there. Thanks again guys. Takecare.

Wise words there

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I just got the pfr6b-11C.

Whats the dif between the B & C?

read that its to do with length. been told its the material. Little confused.

Hope I got the right ones.

The 11C's is not a problem really mate, they are also the most common available in the UK, the 11B's however which are imported are the ones with a slightly longer shroud and thus further reduce any risk of detonation and have been said to perform slightly better, usually cost just a few quid more per 6. Nowt to worry in having the C's, just get the B's next time around :D

I got platinum and are fine! Dont go for anything cheaper or your car will start mis-firing after 3 months or so.

Plus Platinum plugs should be good for 20-30k mikes!
