  1. Right thanks, would i loose anything else if this fuse had blown? Other than radio etc the car runs fine...
  2. I have checked all the fuses i can see, wondered if the relay might be dead? I take it all the fuses for this circuit are inside the car and not under the bonnet? Like wise for the relay? which one is it? Thanks guys
  3. Also is the run/acc relay hidden behind the fuse box in the footwell? (Nice design that fuse box, couldnt be more difficult to access if they tried i think!)
  4. I would be concerned running at 16psi all the time, isnt that too close to maxing the duty cycle on stock injectors? I think you would be running it just that bit too close to the limit and likely to experiance det as the weather gets colder in winter (more dense air more likely to det..)
  5. I have lost my switch ignition circuit from my zed today. I have checked the fuses in the drivers footwell and all appears well. The dashboard lights all work (diff oil hicas alternator i think) s does the interior light and the car starts and runs fine. My radio, boost controller carputer etc all are not recieveing the switched signal ? Have i missed a fuse? Where abouts is the relay for this circuit? Cheers guys
  6. geekyhawkes xbox 360 with cod2 and GRAW PGR! Add me on most evenings
  7. I dont think the zed is too tail happy, certainly no where near as bad as my first RWd car which was a 200sx! Nice motors, but they must have been built to drift even before drifting was cool! The zed is nice to drive and if it does start to slip out then just do nothing and the car collects itself generally, can be tricky in the wet but then i bet any car with nearly 300bhp is going to be a handful!
  8. My zed has been chipped running higher boost with apexi intake and exhaust and the auto box copes fine with it. Think the biggest thing with the auto boxes is to get an oil cooler (if its jap spec) and make sure the fluid level is right then they are fine around the 300-400 bhp mark
  9. to be honest im not that impressed with it. Doesnt look that good and certainly nothing to justify the silly money! The engine doesnt even have a continuous colour scheme with red, blue, yellow, chrome etc...
  10. http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm Check out this buyers guide
  11. Interesting reading. Think my coolant might be due for changing before the summer comes round next year. Only other thing ive wondered, is if distilled water is actually worth the difference over tap water
  12. typcial this offer comes out just as ive spent about £800 getting my incar pc sorted! be really interested to see how these installs turn out
  13. Its funny because its true
  14. "very reliable" Really? lol i guess you at least have access to the engine to fix it when stuff go's wrong?
  15. imagine the lag..... but when it started boosting think you might notice
  16. No its ok thanks, needed to paint mine after some fabrication work i had done. Black plastikote works a treat!
  17. The only bonus with it is that we didnt have to pay for this w@nk! Soooooo disapointing!
  18. Vicky is looking good, but WTF were the producers of this crap thinking? It looks really uncomfortable for them and kind of like its not really been finished... (or it just me?)
  19. Will stay watching this thread with interest to see what they can come up with
  20. Best end to a bad situation i guess. Good to see the car is back with its rightful owner, now lets hope the boys in blue catch the fu*kers and punish them! (or at least give you there address)
  21. All we need now is someone to do a decent upgrade path for the manual box at sensible cash!
  22. very true, did you ever see the clarkson dvd where he reviewd the years new cars as cardboard boxes, vectra etc etc. Most modern "normal" cars are all lack lusture, they arent built to excite us anymore, leave those reviews to 5th gear
  23. Signed, over 8000 signatures now. Frankly as i have said else where i think it is disgusting that a terrible ACCIDENT (think about what this word means) is used to voice a frankly (often) ill informed / thought out opinion about the driving on top gear. In a time of nanny state, speed cameras and high fuel duty, what is wrong with skilled drivers on a private track in controlled conditions showing the people that WANT to watch what can be done. If you don't like it don't watch, and as for the BBC, they keep telling us "down to the unique way we are funded", how about they get behind one of the best TV shows of recent years. Top gear is now so much more than just a car show (i mean watch 5th gear, its like watching top gear 10 years ago!). It seems that mankind has been forced to loose its spirit of adventure, if anyone has an accident doing anything risky they get criticized and called irresponsible. Just over 40 years ago mankind was taking risks in all sorts of areas, world speed records, space race, mach7 aircraft trials the list gos on. In less than half my estimated life span are we saying we should all just curl up and adopt the pipe and slippers approach? (I will get off my soap box now..)
  24. To be honest just buy a TT, its just not worth the time and effort! There are plenty of TT's for sale that are good cars, save your cash. Or you could go the v8 route for similar kind of cash i guess
  25. How? Im guessing a compressor and some water left in the bottle?
