love some of the ideas here guys, especially the escort cosworth but thought they were alot more cash than £10k. Westfield is a bit too aggressive as i need this to be my daily drive, come rain or shine! Wondered about an rx7, dont know anything about them, had heard they were unreliable and cost a fortune to maintain (clearly my zed cost peanuts to run..)

After serious answers please guys. I want something that is fast (not more than 8sec to 60) and that looks nice / is a bit rare. I knwo zeds are great and people will say skylines, and i might go that route. But i would also like suggestions for slightly newer cars. As you know i was involved in an accident (not my fault) and the zed has been writen off, im after something that might survive an insurance claim if knocked (ie not 15 years old i guess...) Guess my starter for 10; Audi TT (i know hair dressers....) maybe 200sx s15

i know they are common and some think they are hair dressers cars, but wondering what sort of tt i could get for around 10000? Anyone driven one? owned one? Advice? Always liked the style, and whilst they are a bit common in london area not too bad here in lincolnshire.. just wondering.. cheers guys n gals

Bad news took all of 20mins after they got the car to their workshop! waiting on the insurance offer now, guess it will take a while to get sorted!

Imin the military and carry an id card everywhere as a function of work, dont see that a uk "membership" card would make that much differance to most peoples civil liberties. I think its a cr*p idea to charge people for them, but then we pay for driving licenses, passports and pretty much ever other document from the govt. Along the same lines i dont see how they will stop bennifit fraud, terrorism, speeding, health fraud, over crowding of prisons or anything else they think will get them votes! If you control entry properly in the first place there simply isnt the need for half of these controls/cloak and dagger things! Likewise if the general public left the military/police/and secret services to get on with our jobs things would be simpler (sorry had a sh1tty day if ive gone on!)

dare i say it might be time for an s15(just doesnt have the kerb appeal of a zed)! Not sure yet, thanks for the support guys...

might just be how i feel at the moment, just not sure if i have the will for another zed, might be because its so close to the accident, but spent hours and ££££ on it and insurance just wont give me much! no idea what i would replace it with though, so just see what they offer me in the end i guess

no whiplash here guys, (need clean bill of health for work so just not worth the hasstle!) Thanks for the advice, ive had the computer and touchscreen out of the car, didnt want to take too much and make it look dodgy but took everything of value i could get at easily, doesnt help with my stillen anti roll bars, smithy big brakes, braided hoses etc.... Just dont have time or all the stock items to swap these out, just going to have to get the car back as part of the settlement and take the bits off then. Also had a new retrim on the seats by the past owner so that should be worth a bit. Just hope i get enough out of the insurance to buy another decent zed!

Ive got to get it back, between the hids, big brake kit refinished interior braided hoses etc etc its got to worth more to me than a scrappy! Just a case of sorting the hasslte, and how much time i can find to break the damn thing!

mine doesnt look much different to yours glen to be honest! damage extends a bit further forward and looks a bit worse towards the rear sill / wheel. Guessing its then end for my zed then! Thanks for all the support thought guys, deffinatly helps!

Cheers guys! Already thinking about whats the best way forward... incase the worst does happen, how does it work with buying a car back from the insurance company? (as in how much do they ask roughly...) and how much back do you get for your car etc.. not got the skills to break it i dont think but still can get most of the aftermarket stuff off and then think about saving for another zed and putting them back on to it.. (guessing with ym damage its likely to be a right off as a 15yr old zed that needs half the car replacing even just cosmetic will be too much to ask?)

So gutted! I hope they will repair it, but i seriously doubt it! And now ive got to spend lots of time taking my carpc back out of the car as if they are righting it off no way they getting my car pc for nothing (does mean double work if i get another zed to refit the fcuker though! just gets better!)

on the drive in to work this morning someone T boned my zed! gutted as i was just getting her how i wanted after lots of £££ spent (same old story!) The girl that hit me went striaght over a stop junction and hit me square in the passenger side of the zed spinning me 270degrees and putting the back of my zed up the kerb (some going for a 106!) Il post some pics in a bit but basically from the front wheel arch to the middle of the rear wheel arch is now kind of 106 shaped! Sills bent (maybe chassis cant make it out from the mess!) , doors distroyed and the a pillar is broken! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Im guessing they are going to right the car off? So expecting some stuipid insulting offer of £2000 or something ****!!!!!!!

The saints are coming... anyone seen it? what a load of hippy left wing BS! i would love to see what they would do when the harrier distroys whoever its saving by winching them up! And wonder what apache on here thinks to the mod to make the worlds best attack helicopter a SAR platform! (Il get off my soap box.. but seriously bloody hippys!)

No problem really duffman (for me at least) was just wondering really. Here about so many other bits that can be trimmed off (egr AIVV etc..) just wondered if pcv was one of them... Il try and get my pcvs fitted before the weather gets too bitter!
