Nope they are awesome, had one on my FTO & it was a brilliant bit of kit. Means you don't have to take your eyes off the road. Think they do a version with boost gauge too.

Hmmm, getting more interested, they do one with boost oil t/p and lots (depending on the defi senders/guages you already have)

Any trader fancy doing a GB? (if theres interest clearly..)

how much mate

Myself or SWZ could arrange a Group Buy if interested. I had plans to install a HUD in my own car.

I would love a HUD system, but I know it wont be cheap...

I have seen this defi hud kit for around $160 so shouldnt be too expensive, plus any GB discount.... can you make a few enquires dave for us?

if its not an arm and a leg then I would be up for it.

i'd be interested to see how much these are on a GB!

ok, leave it with me. There are two version available. 1 with Revs and Speed, and another which has Water temp, oil pressure, oil temp...etc

You'll need a Defi-link for the 2nd version as well though.

:nana2:

at this rate jay ur gt40 will be still in boxes if you keep buying more mods for ur toys lmfao

Isn't it just a neat little digital meter, rather than a 'proper' projected HUD though?

EDIT: Oops, my mistake. It is a HUD.

Looks cool I'd have one if as has been said it doesn't cost the same as your average limb.

I'd like one which has speed/revs/boost on the HUD.

In my opinion having the rest on your HUD is a bit pointless and gauges more than suffice.

By the sound of geeky_hawkes it may come in at the £100 mark? bet there will be a lot of takers at this price!

Seems to be a decent amount of interest, lets hope dave can sort something good for us

any news?

Dear santa.....

I have seen this equipment on a US Zed and to be quite honest the install was a right mess. The projection box was mounted on top of the cluster binnacle (can't cut anything out of the cover to mount the box lower as there are metal supports in the way) and the rectangular plastic "sheet" the info was projected onto was quite opaque meaning it would be constanly in-your-face. Not a very neat install but to give credit where it's due, the equipment did work as advertised!

syed rahman was doing this, dont know how far he got tho
