Difficult but i wouldnt be happy letting it go for less than 4.5k, be looking more towards 5 and for a zed like yours (looks really nice with those vented front wings etc) id be looking more toward 8k i guess!

10w40 magnatec for me (opens up for abuse!) it would appear from searching this before that you could put just about any grade oil in and justify why its best for your use of the car!

Interesting, im guessing these speeds are so much less than i was thinking due to the continual acceleration. (was working on the fact that fast 1/4mile times are around 11 sec, so that means the next 3/4 in under 20!)

cover a standing mile in under 30sec? Be even better if it was closer to 25sec.. Im planning something (none zed related) and just wondered if this could be done... would even an F1 car be pushing the 20sec standing mile? Cheers guys n gals

I have checked the connections around the car, had a look at the intercooler hoses from underneth and they seem fine, also checked all the boost hoses from on top that go to/from the turbos. Anywhere else i should try and check? I will have a look at the settings im using, something like set 40 gain 35 setgain 140 warning 145 reduce 20% from memory

Could also be the TPS i guess, worth checking the looms from the CAS and TPS make sure they are clean and have good connections

Dont think i have a boost leak as they car will pull hard to around 13psi which is a bit high for a boost leak isnt it? I wondered if it was something to do with the settings on the profec, guess i coudl see what happens if i turn uit off to the boost at high rpm. When i say high and drop off, about about 5ooo rpm the boost trims back to around 10.5psi then new gear and it builds then trims back again. Im pretty sure its not a boost leak but guess i could be wrong. Anyone got some good recent profec settings for me to look at?

Guys with profec controllers what sort of settings are you running now you have had chance to mess with the controllers for a few months? I have had mine but am finding setting it up difficult. I have yet to hit 14psi and at high rpm the boost always trims back! I am obviously doing something wrong, but was after a few rough settings to tweak from! Cheers

Ive got one of those light delays that im going to use with a delay relay as well. That way i should get extra light at full strength then it fading out when finished! (At least thats the theory!) Where did you connect yours andy?

Thought cobra would make sub frames for you if they didnt have any already made for the model of car. Might be worth asking them...

If they are the HID lights that came with the 99spec £400 isnt bad at all

Wouldnt worry about the lack of an auto box cooler he is in canada, its plenty cool enough there most of the year that the japspec cooler will be fine. I have recently brought a usb2 pc digital tv card with a view to using it with my carputer. The problem i have is that the supplied aerial with this type of tv card is really small and doesnt pick up anything! I have tried the tv card with my main house aerial and it works fine so its not a pc / driver etc issue. Is there anything I can do to try and boost the signal from within my car? Ive never been a fan of signal boosters anyway, but one of these wouldnt work in my zed anyways! Anyone got any good ideas?

I was under the impression that V power i sthe next move on from optimax, its more than just octane. Better cleaning properties and additives plus a couple extra octane. 99.9 for opt or v power id be happy was 102 last time i filled up!

You know you want one! GRAW on 360 is just awesum in my opinion! PGR 3 is definatly the best driving game ive played in a long time!

Think its just a function of the boost controller this time of year and the lower gears as discussed above. My greddy profec B does the same pretty much. If the boost builds too much (usually in the first 2 gears) then it starts to trim the boost back before hitting max (to prevent spikes). If your hitting 1 bar then its not safety boost, and your pretty unlikely to be running safety boost at 1 bar! Try tweaking the settings with your boost controller and see how you get on then

Interesting but im not brave enough to mess about with my eprom. Wonder if this is something andyP and the other guys pushing out chips could add to their eproms. Few extra degrees the right way must be a bonus! Especially in summer

As said above really, datascan is a nice drivers tool, but if you really wanted to get deeper into fault /maintenance work on the zed conzult is more suited. Datascan allows you to see whats going on in a user friendly way but doesnt offer the same functions as the conzult. I went for datascan as it more than meets my needs of seeing how the zeds sonsors are working and is nice and user friendly (for the most part)
