How smooth?
One persons interpretation of smooth or vibration is going to be different from another. If the engine is running smooth then its likely to be an engine mount, quite common for them to be torn.

Ignition amplifier unit
Yeh, Ignition Ampflier is PTU. All 89-93 came with a series 1 PTU. 94 onwards came with Series 2 PTU. Both will work, but the Series 2 is much more reliable. Can pick up a used Series 1 PTU for about £30. A series 2 PTU will cost you around £120 I believe. SWZ will have at least a dozen or so Used tested PTU's on the shelf. If you want a New Series 2 PTU then best people to speak to would be DTA or MJP. (Contact details are all in the forum traders section)

Motorworld gone bust....
237 shops, and I've never seen or heard of them...actually think I might of come across their website previously, but presumed they were just another online store.

I think s2/s3 onwards are all heated. Indeed the rest of the spec you mentioned is typical for a series 2/3. But none are auto folding, sounds like somebody has modified it for auto folding with ignition off.

brakes any good
These are much bigger than Standard Zed calipers, so you cant really compare them to some brackets for using standard brakes. They are more comparable to the GTR setup, which tends to go for around that price 2nd hand...so that makes this deal very well priced. They are 3-4x cheaper than other Big brake kits. I dont however know much about the willwoods. The K-sports are getting a good repuation, but they are still a budget Chinese brake setup. The top brake setups are from AP Racing, Stoptech, Rotora ...etc

Auto Vs Manual....2+2 Vs SWB
Depends on your own needs really. 2+2 vs 2+0 - Both are great, the LWB is more praticle, but the SWB is the sportier driver......so 2+2 if you intend to carry children or dwarfs in it, otherwise SWB. LWB is a lot easier to come by and wont cost as much. Targa if its just a Toy/daily driver for the road, Slicktop if your after a Track toy. Manual if you have the use of both legs. Its noticably quicker, a lot more reliable and a lot more fun. Ofcourse there is also the Convertible option, although they are NA only, but make great cruisers. Vast majority of cars are 90-92. Late 92 (series 2) onwards is slightly preferable becuase of the improved climate control, relocated seatbelts, nicer interior trim, ..etc,

Kph swap to mph help please?
UK Clocks is the best way. Everything works as it should, they look better than Jap clocks and you get Boost and OIl pressure in PSI as well. Next best is changing the resistor inside the speedo. Then there is the Convertor option. Problem with the convertor is that it throws the PAS and Hicas out of wack, as they think you are going slower than you really are and they rely on accurate speed measurement. Delimiters can also be unreliable. Causing Speedo and Power steering failure.

Wow my zed is eating petrol.
Looks like we have a lot of Lewis Hamiltons on here lol , or some overfuelling cars ( FPR, O2 sensors, temp senders, safety mode....etc)

Wow my zed is eating petrol.
Normal if your thrashing it. Not normal for "regular" driving.

Air condition
The main advantage is better engine cooling as the air has less restriction the the radiator. Another advantage would be a bit of weight saving. If your car is not highly modified, and/or your not intending on using it for much track racing then there is not much point to removing to be honest. The aux/aircon fan is the Electric fan under the nose panel that sits on the Aircon radiator. It acts as a backup/emergency fan if the vehicle overheats. I removed mine to improve airflow even further to the Main radiator but my water temperature is monitored and alarmed for high temp warnings.

boost controller / boost gauge
Why are you in safety boost ? Have you dont an ECU error code check ? You dont want to be increasing boost until you've fixed the problem that is causing it.

clutch help required
Replace the oil first, with something like Redine MT90, many have found it to it cure(mask) the problem for a long time. Recon is very expensive, £1000+. Brand new box, with synco improvements is around £1200. 2nd hand about £500

Air condition
Carefull of the R12 gas its invisible and has no smell but is toxic stuff. When you cut/undo pipes do it outside or in a well ventilated area and immediatly leave the car while the gas clears. You can remove the Aircon pump, Pump bracket, Condensor, Radiator and the pipes upto where they run into the bulkhead. I've also removed the aircon/auxillery fan, but thats up to you, pro's and con's to that.
