what bhp...
Boost is not controlled by ECU. You need either a Electronic Boost controller or a pair of Mig welding tips to increase the boost. 13-14psi is a typical safe figure based on your spec. You can expect anything from 340-380hp. Speak to John Dixon, AndyP or DTA for a Remapped/Chipped ECU. To go further it then starts to get more expensive - you would want Bigger intercoolers and Bigger Injectors, but that will only allow a few psi more before the turbos are your next restriction, and if you remove the engine to fit bigger turbos then you would really want to do an engine rebuild with forged pistons at same time.

Your thoughts on price ....
Bear in mind though that you cant get a 1yr newer 99spec zed for less than £10k

Wheezing type squeel when hard on the brakes.
Its not a common problem with them. Its pretty straightforward, but awkward having to lie upside down under dash.

Wheezing type squeel when hard on the brakes.
Yep, brake booster leaking. Readily available used (unlike Clutch Servo's which you cant usually get used).

Your thoughts on price ....
Price seems ok being a 1998 model. There is probably only a handfull in the country so its hard to say for sure, most Z32's being 91-92. No traction never standard, could have aftermarket installed such as Racelogic.

im picking it up on saturday.....
NA 2+2 is 1490kg NA SWB is 1450kg NA slicktop is 1430kg I just looked up the NA supra kerb weight and it says 1460kg Performance is pretty much identical for the NA's. Stock TT supra is marginally quicker because it runs higher boost as standard.

Heres one for you 300zx V 3000gto
The GTO is a heavy old beast, very lardy compared to the Zed. Has the intiial grip advantage but not as quick on the move. Its also a pig to work on.....did some stuff on a NA GTO (4wd) once and never again ! Everything was a pita from Taking the interior apart to basic engine maintenance. Drove ok, but pretty boring I thought. Have never really liked them though. Exterior is full of plastic cheap looking vents, and the interior is pretty dissmall.

Xenon headlight kit
Its just a simple plug and play to fit HID lights. No extra wiring or earthing to do. The Loom for the balasts just plug into the original headlight connector using 2 spade terminals. You can earth one of the terminals as a modification so they they dont switch off when you flash the main beam.

Z in two and a half men
Especially when you consider that the idea for the first F&F film was started becuase of the real life stories of a guy that used to street race his 300zx. I doubt it would of had much affect on modified styling...everyone did'nt go out and "F&F" style modify their Skylines, Supra's and Rx7's after the Films. It did however help with their resale values and popularity/image.

Button?

help mot failure
Handbrake adjustment is no more than half an labour at most. Adjust at lever if cable stretched, or otherwise at each disc. Porterfield, Hawk and Ferrodo have the best Brake pad reputation here. They will cost £70-£120 for a set of fronts though. Takes less than half an hour to do both sides! Cuplink = Steering coupling ? speak to Mike @ MJP Couple of hours Labour for the lot.
