hicas eliminator fitting instructions
NA PAS Pot NA Pas Pump & Bracket Remove Hicas Solenoids and pipes from engine bay (you can remove them from underneath car too, or just keep them there). Then you will either need to get a new NA PAS belt, or you can just swap the pulley over from, your old pump.

Termnals wrong way around as its incorrect battery, not an issue other than terminal location though. Terminals are the same for UK and Jap.

beeping???
You can unplug the beeper to disable all sounds which is behind the speedo or you can unplug the Small connetor coming of the Beeper loom with green and yellow striped wire and that will disable only the speed chime but keep the headlight beeper active..

Mapping of standard ECU
He's been away since last weekend, coming back this saturday I think. Maybe, depens if there was anything else you did'nt want with the car that he would keep...etc
-
Mapping of standard ECU
Yes, they've just sold 2 Slicktop shells, and have 1 left. A red one. Originally an NA. Needs Paintwork. No Engine, No Drivetrain, No Brakes. Has Interior. £500 I believe.

Mapping of standard ECU
Yes, John can provide a chip based on the modifications you have, and I know he can map it to your car using his wide band o2 sensor...and/or set it up on a Booked rolling road session. Best to drop him a PM and see what he suggests.

The story continues...
New - MJP (forum new oem parts supplier) Used - SWZ (forum Z32 breaker) Aftermarket - DTA (forum aftermarket parts supplier) I fookin hate insurance claim accessors. I'ev had 2 cars written off in the past, and both times it took over 6 months to get a penny out of them, shit loads of stress and I lost huge amounts of money because of it.

Question
No. It may benefit from an Autobox Oil and filter change though. You can also purchase a HKS ALC which is a electronic unit which increases the Autobox pressure to offer quicker gear changes.

Anyone got a copy of Blazt software?
As long as the previous owner has only installed it on the one machine previously then you may be able to get the software developer to issue with a new license. You may need the person you bought it off to contact the developer on yuor behalf though with his original details. http://www.nissandatascan.com Its not normal for people to be able to sell on their software though, its usually licensed to the machine it was originally installed on.

Anyone got a copy of Blazt software?
Each license gets 2 installations allowed, as long as you keep your same email address (as thats what the key is registred to)

Anyone got a copy of Blazt software?
Im afraid it wont work. They key is specific to each machine and user.

Tyre pressures
Technically when you go to a larger tyre with a larger contact patch, the pressure can actually be lowered because the weight of the car is now being transferred to the road via a greater area. Also A larger tyre with lower side wall results in less air volume which means the pressures will increase faster under load than with a tyre that holds more volume. The differences are minimal and not worth taking it account, and alterating tyre pressure on one vehicles is often more about driver preference.
-
Tyre pressures
Tyre pressure is not affected by wheel size. So use the standard nissan recomended tyre pressure for stock wheels. As for tyre pressure for track racing - difference of preference, lowering a couple of psi can improve grip at teh cost of wear, increasing a couple of psi will save wear.

ambiant temp -86 ???
Its a little black box about 3cm x 1.5cm x 1.5cm with a bolt hole going through it. Black lead coming of it that goes to a little connector. Should be able to find it under the nose panel, behind the bumper towards the drivers side.

Mapping of standard ECU
Yep, 99.96734 % of modified Zed's run a remapped stock ECU, rather than standalone. John Dixon is the most experienced stock ECU Mapper, and can offer different options. AndyP and Danny@DTA also offer their own chips. The bigger injectors the better tbh, you give yourself more of a safety margin for future upgrades. Most people stick to 555's becuase they have the earlier style fuel rails (89-94) that prevent them going any larger without spending out more money on newer few rails. Yours being a 96 does'nt have this problem. You will need to replace your ECU with an earlier version though as the later style can not be mapped. Not a problem though, you dont lose out on anything.
