  2. Potentially mid 4secs 0-60 ....getting a 0-60mph time lower than mid 4's is more about traction than power. I recorded a 0-60 of 4.7 secs, and 0-100 of 11.9 secs on my old 2+2 TT Manual with 14psi. (and 5.6 and 14.1 respectively on stock boost). Yep...although in my experience the NA loves to be revved and makes the most of taking it close to the limiter, whereas the TT does benefit from an earlier gear change
  3. nope. A 330mm kit will fit under "some" 17's , but recomended 18's, so I would imagine you would have a very hard time finding 17's to fit the 350mm kit. The spoke design and offset plays a big part in which wheels will fit. Some 18's wont fit either.
  4. Its not for me. If I wanted Large saloon style sports coupe it wouldn't choose a vauxhall.
  5. 8.5 front with 9.5 rear is a popular choice. Any wider and you risk problems with clearances.
  6. CheerZ for the comments. Been sorting out some niggles today, and its now running smoothly on all 6, everything is spot in :) yeh :( Going to need Coilovers sooner than planned Not yet..but will be soon :)
  7. Not yet..but will be soon :)
  8. Thats what the video is all about, software for the iphone that measyres G's The iphone has a built in accelerometer, that measures g-force
  9. No, it wont have any affect on the autobox. It will however put the ECU in safety mode and will be down considerably on power.
  10. Its in the drivers footwell, just above the bonnet pull release. Its a rectangle grey plug that is not connected to anything else. Usually hanging down on its own.
  11. Hi mate, yes I remember your username. Im no longer running audionav unfortunatly, however the software (datascan) is available from http://www.blazt.biz for around £20
  12. A guy on 3zc has created a lip for the 99spec front bumper Really liking it  Details : http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=134012 With a bit of luck it'll go to market, or an existing manufacturer will pick up on it go to market with it.
  13. Pics in here :p http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=111732

  15. :tongue::tongue: Its now Running :D
  16. LOL. Quite fancy it for the timing's though. btw - I want to see death race now :D
  17. The conzult lead is specific to conzult only, while the datascan lead will work in all ECU software applications available, except conzult. Both are great products. Both offer the same features - ECU diagnostics, Sensor readouts ...etc IMO Conzult is a better workshop/garage tool, while Datascan is a better Zed enthusiast tool. What I mean by that is that Conzult is more expensive and includes extra features such as Hicas and Aircon diagnostics that could be userfull to a garage but not really used much by your typical enthusiast, whereas Datascan has a better interface for displaying sensor readings (gauge displays) and has features such as Performance measuring (0-60mph ..etc).
  18. LOL Too right. Finished everything needed to turn the key this afternoon and she fired into life...albeit on 3 cylinders in typical fashion but will sort that tomorrow :) Its not quite moving yet, as I need to rebuild the rear subframe and arms that I have been Polybushing and then bolt that all up with the new Diff, but that will be done by next weekend. Then I will actually drive it for the first time ever ....... Then its off to the bodyshop :nana2:
  19. :hyper::hyper::hyper: Little vid on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQwXHp9r8Rs Unfortunately my phone is even worse at recording sound quality than it is at video picture quality...but you get the idea :D
  20. Seen FB status updates form him, and Im pretty sure Paul@Swz spoke to him last week, or the week before.
  21. sorry cant make this. Viewing a House at 11:30am and then planning to work on the zed rest of the day.
  22. Looks fantastic Pete.
  23. You can Import a 99spec anytime you want. There have been a few in the country for a while now (Craig David ^^^ has one already)...but ever since they changed the law in 2002 (i think it was 2002) any car younger than 10yrs required a SVA test and to have an SVA test there must be a model report on the vehicle available. The 300zx does not have a model report, so its not been possible to register one on the road until its 10 yrs old. The first 99spec's started in late 98, so at the end of this year it will be possible to register the earlier versions.
  24. Lee/Import-ance has said he is looking into it...although currently tempoarily banned from forum at moment. Apparently they still hold there prices really well in Japan and prices seemed to be in the £10-14k region when mentioned previously......more than a newer 350z
