  1. I believe SWZ are charging between £1200 and £1400 fully inclusive of parts and labour (eg. £700 parts + £500 labour) depending on which clutch you have (oem or aftermarket). They are not really offering garage services anymore, but are still offering fitting on parts purchased and there is a lot of demand for them to do manual conversion jobs still.
  2. Im in cornwall right now, not exactly on holiday...infact not been on holiday at all this year :(
  3. Happy birthday mate
  4. Happy Birthday :duffer:
  5. UK cars are set up better for our fuel yes but when you chip your ECU you remove the limiter and obtain a better fueling map for UK fuel.
  6. Welcome :) You'll need to Subscribe (£20) to list anything for sale here.
  7. and passed me on the M5 today....guess its not a forum member.
  8. Looks fantastic mate  The Same skirts I have for mine too
  9. Same for Supra though...£5k for a good early one, and up to £15k for a later one....same car, facelift parts....people pay it.
  10. Just been to see it. Absolutely loved it. I was a bit skeptical about the ledger hype (although I've seen him in a lot of stuff prior, and always liked him) I'd just imagined it was the typical over-hype you get after a person dies....but no, he really was superb...as was Bale, one of my fav actors since American Psycho (2000). Was uncomfortably long, but you get a lot for you money.
  11. Paul asked for this thread to be brought back to light as he doesnt want anyone thinking he has anything to hide by getting rid of it. not once has Joe asked for his money back because if he had Paul would of given him it, he is happy with having a engine but was worried because he couldnt get hold of paul at that time. Paul has spoken to him and things are sorted as his engine should be with him by now so no news is good news.:)
  12. Good to see somebody after a set of High quality decent lightweight rims :) Far too many cheap tacky bling wheels fitted to Zed's these days. Im sure not everyone will be fussed by them, but they are Extremely well made, high quality lightweight wheels and Volk Racing/Rays offer a great range of different styles. Im a big fan of pretty much the entire Volk Racing/Rays range, here are some TE37 pics : Silver Te37 TE37 Time attack White Te37 Bronze Te37
  13. Wether that car is lowered or not (the angle of the car/pic/suspenionsion at the moment the pic was taken definatly perceives to be much lower than stock), you would need to lower the car a lot to get the same look. I know of quite a few Zed's with that extension and similar, and none of them look as good as that pic in the flesh. Still nicer than the stock bumper without the lip though.
  14. I'm sure there are a LOT of us who are looking forward to seeing you meet your goals Ian , and admire the amount of work that has gone into the car. I know from my own experience that its often all the smaller things that take up the most time and energy in planning, designing and installing, and its the work that goes into them thats rarely appreciated. Its a testimant to the car and the work you have put into it that although you've been very quiet lately and there hasn't been news on your car, people regulalary refer to it and use it as a benchmark setting. What are you gearbox plans ? Would LOVE to see a ITB setup on the VG in the UK.

Just book with somebody like parcel2go. £10 each up to a 25kg limit (they are less than 25kg)
  16. People pay that for 15yr old modified supras and skylines, and its not the most expensive 300zx I know that has sold in the last year or 2.
  17. I Think Lee might be feeling slightly bitter lol
  18. Auto and Manual use same diffs. NA and TT have different Diff's with different ratios.
  19. There is a tool you can use designed to remove the sealant/glue , thats available from Bodyshop suppliers .....but I cant for the life of me remember what its called..... somebody will pop along and know though Im sure...
  20. Lots of them on ebay. A Chinese/korean copy of the HKS I believe. Fitted a couple previously to other peoples cars. The filters are cheap and crap, so best to replace them. One of the kits had really poor hose clamps that kept blowing off. Other than that, the IC itself seemed good quality and the hoses all fitted with a bit of jiggling. I prefer Side mounts personally, but better not start that argument LOL
  21. Had to be a DIY job, lots of custom fabrication and time in planning. You wont find any Companies that have done it before and you would be talking an absolute fortune to pay somebody to do it. A lot of it depends on how far you go with it though. Im not a fan of sticking an American V8 in the Z, but the VH45de Nissan V8 is very  !!
  22. It all Depends on offset. Quite a few running 9" front and 10" rears with rolled arches.
