Could someone please tell me what front bumper or lip has been added to this and DON'T say a standard tt bumper as its not, very close but not, and where i might happen upon one. Many thanks, J.

Yep. its a Stillen bumper extension. have a look on the stillen site and you should be able to find it

Yep defineately a stillen lip, they are gorgeous! MJP will bring you one in ;) :)

As has been said, it's a stock bumper (actually an NA bumper....as it's an NA...lol.... I know the car ;) /pedantic mode off). It has the ''Type 2" Stillen extension. Stillen also make a slightly more aggressive one too which is the GTZ lip.

here's a thought. i know its probably a silly thing to question the all knowing god of 300s BUT Mr. Funky could you be wrong and it is infact be a type3? (namly 'cos i can'y find type2) cheers.

Yup, you are right. Not sure what possessed me to write type 2 as I was umming and arring about fitting one for a long time, you'll probably find various threads about it! LOL

Hehe, righto you seem to know your stuff to me. Thanks for all the info anyway fella. i take it you decided against it then (thread searching)

Yeah, but I do love the look of it A LOT!!! The matching skirts are really nice too. If I had a silver Z, then I'd most likely do it and modify the Type 3 rear bumper a little as I've always been unsure about the way it wraps around the exhaust and the little flared lip at the bottom of it.

I couldn't just have the lip on its own as it doesn't follow the contour of the drop-sides and follow the thickness of the recess line unless you fit the corresponding skirts. Similar issue to the effect you get with a lot of aftermarket front bumpers.

With mine, I've spent a lot of time getting the rock-guard effect shaved from the stock bumpers and the sills smoothed. So I don't really want to cover that up.

Wether that car is lowered or not (the angle of the car/pic/suspenionsion at the moment the pic was taken definatly perceives to be much lower than stock), you would need to lower the car a lot to get the same look.

I know of quite a few Zed's with that extension and similar, and none of them look as good as that pic in the flesh. Still nicer than the stock bumper without the lip though.

NOOOOOOOOO!!! dont spoil it for me, haha. Could it be as simple as car colour, black strip, orange fogs and no number plate or am i missing something subtle that makes this look awsome?

(and obviously the stillen lip)

B.T.W. if anybody has a similar forntal view of the stillen gtz lip it would be muchly appreciated.

yeah, it is a good look and i know what you mean about the rear bumper. I can only go on pics i've seen as i have never seen a stillen in real life, however the lines don't look much off to me.?.

an after thought to my reply to FunkySi maby an thin black line along the top of the stillen lip would help keep preportions correct?
