  1. yeh, the 350z does have a very french looking front end imo
  2. Parked right outside her office window again. She's complaining that all she gets to look at all day is a zed.
  3. lol I did'nt notice that. Not sure why its listed seperatly, will check later if I get time.
  4. Im impressed how the 300zx does'nt look much older/dated than the other 2 (the 99spec bumper helps) , but it does look more sporty. The GTR is not much of a looker, in red at least, and its a big looking car while the 350z just looks plain and uninspiring.
  5. Weight 950kg. An under stressed 820bhp and 650 ft lbs of torque
  6. Congrats, hope the day goes brilliant for you and your Wife to be
  7. 13.5" wide rears with 11" fronts  There has actually been a not too dis-similar Supra at the SWZ Workshop for the past couple of weeks having a 3.4 litre Stroker kit fitted. Huge Single Turbo, Full wide arch Chargespeed kit, AP Racing brakes, Cusco suspension.....etc
  8. I'd Imagine its based on the "new at first registration date" or Manufactured date , rather than UK registration date
  9. I believe it was shipped from here to the U.S to have the work done, then back again.....and there were issues, so it was sent back again to get sorted, and then home again. Some people are mad !
  10. Its acutally "plenum water bypass", and involves removing the "unneeded" water feeds that go to the plenum. Makes for less places that leaks can develop.
  11. I pronounce it Coop , without they "ay" its possibly the American pronunciation ?
  12. I've seen these symtons once before - Injectors running at near full chat without any throttle, could'nt get the car to start, tried everything.....could'nt find out why, in the end it was diagnosed with a fault with the dodgy old EFI loom...shorting itself out somewhere...new loom..fixed.
  13. This is a well known car/owner on MkIVsupra club. Genuine
  14. £4000...are they mad. I would of thought you could get something like that made up for a couple of hundred.
  15. Only if it was a drift contest ;)
  16. Typo ? Not seen a capacity as high as that even with full overbore and stroker kit. Definatly VG becuase of the plenum
  17. Horses for Courses. To me the quickest car around a Track is the quickest car (a test of acceleration, mid range, top speed, handling and braking). However its impossible to compare without a stig lol
  18. Im fitting a NA rear end in mine at the moment, but not yet driven it. I've only been in a NA converted TT, so I did'nt see a Before and After Diff swap, but its impressively quick through the gears, and noticeably quicker than a Regular TT with comparable mods But from everything I have read and those I have spoken to about it who have first hand experience they say its very noticable. I know one of the Tuners in the U.S did some comparitive tests on the same vehicle and found it knocked half a second of their 0-60 times. Still capable of 165+ mph, and it will get there a lot sooner :)
  19. Im not sure if any of the Magazine test included Autos. I think Nissan UK quoted the TT Auto something like 7.5secs , which is rediculously innaccurate. Every radtest has different results, as there are so many factors that affect figures. The UK Magazine 2+2 Manual road tests were generally in the High 5's The U.S Magazine SWB TT Manual tests were generally in the low 5's I think the best recorded test was by "Car and Driver" magazing with a SWB TT Manual - 5.0 secs 0-60 and 13.8secs 1/4 mile. Not seen any Convertible tests, but they never made a TT conv, only NA available. The NA is apparantly somewhere in the region of high 6's to low 7's 0-60.
  20. Im in exactly the same boat. I was planning to modify the 99spec Indicators to include an extra bulb for sidelights. However I dont currently have any 99spec Indicators so not sure how possible that is yet.....
  21. Although it can be easier just to swap the whole thing, including hubs, rather than dissassmble only the required bits 4.08 ratio instead of a 3.69. Which means you gain acceleration with the sacrifice of some top speed. A very favorable modification by those that have done it.
  22. Many people have custom fitted throttle bodies from other cars, but Z1 also do larger straight bolt on Throttle bodies. .....or are you talking about individual throttle bodies for each cylinder with custom plenum? In which case..nobody does them for the zed, but John Dixon is the man to speak to about it, he was doing some experimenting with Motorbike throttle bodies and a custom plenum.
  23. Got a link to more details Nick ?
  24. Looks like a change in 92. 43281-40P05 Date:01.90 -04.92 VG30DETT LH 43280-40P05 Date:01.90 -04.92 VG30DETT RH 43281-40P05 Date:04.92 VG30DETT FOR LH 43280-40P05 Date:04.92 VG30DETT FOR RH
