  1. Sad to hear :(
  2. Welcome. We should start our own "no front bumper" club  :D
  3. 7.5 and 9.5 ;)
  4. The hose is for air feed ducting to the rear diff and rear brakes.
  5. Forgot to say - I was referring to the fronts. Z33 rear calipers do need the hub modified as mounting hole is about 1cm out of alignment.
  6. I presume Dan must mean if your fitting Z33 discs and stock calipers. Front calipers are straight bolt on, other than enlarging the hole. Definatly, as I have fitted a couple of sets recently.
  7. Wow..HUUUGGEE !! what the larger calipers would do would give better protection from heat soak and brake fade, so you would have consistent braking even after several laps on the track
  8. Why would you need a Bracket to fit the calipers  R33 GTR / R34 GTR / 350z - Brembo's all fit onto the Z32 without any modification (except drilling the holes a bit bigger) . Straight bolt on, no brackets. and the S14 uses same mounting points as the Z32.
  9. Never realised that. That would explain a lot of confusion.
  10. I would go for a +35 offset with a 9.5" rear rim , and +25 offset with a 8.5" front rim.
  11. Uprated ARB's do make a big improvement, however its more than likely your suffering with 15yr+ old worn dampers and springs, and they would be the first upgrade I would recommend. as mentioned, The KYB AGX with Eibach spring package is a good upgrade for the raod that transforms the car. ARB's would just be a band-aid otherwise. After you have new shocks and springs then you could upgrade the ARB's too. MJP can supply custom made springs to any height and spring rate you want I believe.
  12. Barry has a White slicktop TT and a Pearl Brown Convertible.
  13. Happy Birthday :duffer:
  14. Stock pump is 255lph , which is as big as you get aftermarket. The next step is 2x 255lph pumps. Have they checked the fuel pressure ?
  15. Welcome and good luck with your purchase. There are a LOT and I mean a LOT of rough examples out there unfortunately, try to avoid buying the first you see, however tempting, unless your certain it really its a gem. Most expensive problems your likely to encounter is Engine damage from overheating, turbo seal failure and Autobox failure. So be sure that there are no leaks, no smoke and that the box changes quickly and smoothly. Being an Import there is much less chance of there being body corrosion, but if its been in the Uk for a number of years the dreaded rust could of taken hold - Check the rear part of the sills, the metal under the rear bumper just behind back wheel, and along the welds near the suspension turrets in engine bay, Also bear in mind that the 60k cambelt service will cost you around £500 from a specialist (or £1000 from nissan dealer) so make sure its been done.
  16. Dont like the wheels. Paul@SWZ's Dad has almost the exact car though - Same colour Convertible with the full Cream interior.
  17. They all share the same stud pattern. The Offset is different however, and the mounting hole size differs.
  18. I've always removed the Turbo from the manifold.
  19. actually, yes just remembered.....have tried Stock wheels with 350z Brembo's and they did not fit...but the 350z's brembo's use a different offset to the GTR brembos.
  20. Never tried it, a modified zed on stock wheels would be a rarity. Have had problems fittings 17's and even 18's over brembo's though, its more about the offset and design of the spokes than the diameter.
  21. You need to be a subscribed member to post in the for sale, wanted and private forums. I believe stock 8.5 rear offset is either 35mm or 38mm, they stick to far inside the arches as standard anyway.
  22. Its the early pintle style injectors (same as stock) that have the failure issues.....the same failure issues as the Stock injectors, and its mostly in regards to the U.S becuase of the ethanol(I think) content in their fuel. The later pintle-less style injectors do not have this issue. To fit the later style injectors (that includes 555's and all other sizes) you would require either the later style lower plenum and fuel rail....or the aftermarket 300-degree fuel rail.
