  1. You can get one made up from a hose supplier like Pirtek. There is'nt anyone in the UK that manufactures/supplies it off the shelf.
  2. um..no...your sidelights will just come on as normal. They are in the bumper and completely separate from the headlights.
  3. ****ing hell. Sorry to hear. Glad they got scared of.
  4. Great pics. Great weather too. Which i was there
  5. Stock Manual is around mid 5 secs, or high 4secs with 1bar boost and supporting mods. I've never seen a published time for the Auto but It feels between a few tenchs and half a second slower on the old butt dyno. The method you mentioned is an Autobox party trick for drag racing, it allows the car to build boost on the line....unfortunatly it will very quickly kill a stock Zed autobox.
  6. Yep, rears are the same. TT and NA fronts differ by 2mm width up to 1991. From 92 onwards they are the same also.
  7. I can answer both of you - donations accepted by paypal. :)
  8. is this for the stock suede series 2/3 trim ? if so, its not real suede its man-made, like Alcantara. Use a soft brush and a mild soap and gently work it in rinsing the brush with water to clear the soap away.
  9. Look at funkysi's pics, he has lots of his 99spec mounted. Although I believe he would mount it a little bit further back if he gets the change to redo it. The spoiler should overhang the tailgate. The spoiler sits pretty far back, near the edge. I dont have any decent pics of my 99spec fitted on my old zed.
  10. Nice one. You got the new shell yet ?
  11. Looks fantastic. Well done
  12. LOL @Bantumbunny Was'nt as good as previous years, but memorable all the same.
  13. for those emergency situations
  14. Would you say Andy that its a very good car, but not one you could get as passionate about like the Z32?
  15. My thoughts too. I'd buy one as a sporty car for the wife, but I'd rather have the 300 myself.
  16. Just fitting the bars and putting them in the middle settings will alter the stock oversteer/understeer charteristics. You want to do that first and then compare the handling characteristics for your own preference, dont try and set them up first. Front sway softer = less understeer Front sway stiffer = more understeer Rear Sway softer = less oversteer Rear sway stiffer = more oversteer What you may find is that the car is more inclined towards oversteer with the stillens, whereas the stock setup is more inclined towards understeer. This is becuase the rear sway on a Jap TT is very skinny (UK bar is stiffer), and therefore stillen upgrade will make the most impact on the rear sway stiffness.
  17. Digital Climate became a option in later years for all versions whereas it was standard pre-1995 (except convertible). With dwindling sales it was just one of Nissans many ways of saving money unfortunatly. Cruise control optional, and moved to a stalk instead of switches. 1995 onwards cars also have Less Insulation, thinner carpets, they went back to tweed instead of the suede and velour and some engine parts started to become unpainted.
  18. "sports cats" wont be cheap, and dont offer any real advantages. Cat test not MOT requirement on 300zx until 1995 onward models. Save yourself some cash and decat or keep the stock cats.
  19. Blimey its Yami  Somebody said they spotted your car on the other forum the other day, but I did'nt realise it was still yours, glad to hear it :) So your back in the SW now ?
  20. Signed, although a petition wont have any affect.
  21. Jap and UK rear lights are exactly the same.
  22. Spash gaurds are important, and not just the undershields but there is a spash shield built into the stock bumper half way up right under where the standard airbox would be....it usually gets ripped out when replacing the standard airbox for an Induction kit...and there lies the rainy day problem. If its missing....fit some sort of replacement.
  23. You'll need the NA Clutch Master cylinder as well. It will feel the same, just heavier ;) Both are hydrualic, its just that the TT one is Vacumn assisted to make it easier to press becuase of the stronger clamping Clutch.
  24. ^^^ or what Steve said LOL
