  1. The undershield allows for smoother flow under the car = Reduced lift (aerodynamics), plus the built in vents suck hot air out of the engine bay as the air rushes past. Without the tray, the passing air can be too turbulant for hot engine bay air to escape properly. Thats the theory anyway. Plus it stops road debris, water, mud, stones..etc entering engine bay
  2. I have Realplayer 11, but how do I download youtube vids with it ?
  3. That info is incorrect. The ECU does not advance the timing above the set parameters, it only retards it. A resistor will not cause any over advance if ignition angle or hinder performance.

Looked like a good meet. Good turnout. Did'nt realise Paul & Barry were going  :(
  6. Welcome to the Club...and a new South West Member. 98's 300zx are extremely rare...less than a handfull in the country. Congrats on the purchase.
  7. North West events section - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=92
  8. You need to tell us what happens when you try and log in? Does it say Password not recognised...or is there some other error ? Does it look like its logging on, but then it says your still not logged in ?
  9. I meant fit the UK Indicators/Sidelights, and leave his current indicator space meshed.
  10. btw - Just to clarify the Turbine housings are smaller on GTR Turbos than the stock 300zx turbos.
  11. But unlike other touchscreens Its a new design where the screen is mounted on lots of individual springs so when you touch it you can feel it push down like your pushing a button. The Bottom bits are buttons too
  12. I imagine its a Titanium alloy, as Pure titanium is not as hard wearing. Sexy looking key though
  13. What about the Blackberry Storm that I keep seeing advertised on TV past few days, looks pretty cool. Dont know anything about it, other than its got a nice big screen and looks good. Anyone know what its like ?
  14. just get UK front indicators/sidelights. On UK models the Indicators and sidelights are where the Import front fogs & sidelights are, and where the Import sidelights live are just blanks on a UK model.
  15. Each car came with 1 Titanium key, 1 Black (spare) key and 1 Red (valet) key.
  16. ok, have read several threads now on gtouk.... and is a common misconception apparantly. Its just a U.S thing for the TT models with 4wd, as they had base models too over there. No VR-4 designation for Uk or Jap models. Only difference is GTO = Jap, 3000GT = UK (like 300zx and Fairlady for us) UK models are said to be 320hp, and Jap models 280hp. Gentlemans agreement and all that apparently, but most say they are all same HP.
  17. nope, just checked gto forum...all GTO's TT's are VR-4 according to them.
  18. Pretty sure the VR4 is just the American name for the GTO Twin Turbo.
  19. Yes it can be adjusted at the pedal. If you get your head down there you'll see where it can be adjusted. You need to slacken off a nut and turn a threaded bar, then tighten nut back up.
  20. Very nice. Its a Escort front (my favourite) rather than TK front though How much is it up for ?
  21. How did everyone else do Lisa..who else went ?
  22. Looks like a clean example. Late models are pretty rare so you could have yourself a nice purchase there.
  23. Road legal (tax, ins, mot) yes...but not registered in your name. Breakdown recoveries are on the Person, not the car.
