  2. I've driven my previous zed's all year round in all weathers and never had any problems, they were still able to take corners in the pouring rain faster that I could in my daily drivers and never had any concerns about them.... .... but I have also driven zed's that were lethal in the rain !...your going round a rounabout slower than than your average sunday driver and the front and back are trying to swap ends on you without notice, or your travelling down a long straight and the car wants to 4 wheel aquaplane everywhere while every other car on the road overtakes. Tyre choice being the critical factor, some of the tyres that the imports come over fitted with should never be shown a drop of water on UK roads.
  3. At least you can drive yours LOL I've done 3 miles in mine, I have'nt had the chance to get bored of it.
  4. Would Love to, but cant commit to something like that at moment :(
  5. Your definaly due a boost increase by now.
  6. Euro Road trip time ! :) ok..bad timing....we should do one next year though
  7. I find little annoyances (like Squeeks and rattles) can play a large part in the enjoyment...or lack off, but at least they can be rectified. One thing I've noticed though, and Im sure others have too, is that you get owners spending an absolute fortune on their cars, you can tell its there No.1 interest at the time...then its finally finished to how they want it (big engine build or not long out of bodyshop..etc) and they suddenly lost the interest...and up it goes for sale and a big financal loss :( Postnatel depression I reckon ! lol
  8. They are work emotion XD9's
  9. This one ? They are HKS Hi-power
  10. From bits of the exterior and interior trim can tell thats definatly a Jap spec car, rather than U.S spec so always RHD. seller does'nt know what he is talking about. I reckon Pete is about right though. They are dirt cheap in Japan. Prob cost no more than £1500 total cost including buying car shipping and all fees.
  11. Kaminari skirts (available from the U.S - http://www.300zx.com and http://www.powertrix.com (powertrix do replicas of the kaminari at lower price) impul skirts (available from Japan parts importers or used) : Door fillers make a big difference. Most skirts available in the Uk dont include them, and it makes a noticable difference in the overall look.
  12. Your doing it with engine in Dan ?
  13. My favourite are the Kaminari skirts. I have Impul skirts (not fitted yet) which are pretty subtle too. No silly vents..etc
  14. Good point, Im sure not everybody has but then its the sort of item you would get local instead I would imagine, like most oil filters.
  15. yep, a manufacturer would start from scratch, a very lengthy process. But starting from a Base map and developing it from there is not going to be as long winded.
  16. I know what you mean...dont know the answer though LOL. You can best that most Zed's out there will be running around without it after changing fuel filters though.
  17. its the little black box on the side of the passenger side throttle body. Check its plugged in and that the connectors are not dirty/corroded.
  18. They look like they are pointing far too low
  19. looks in a pretty poor state Tbh, wont be long before it starts developing holes
  20. The old loom becomes very brittle with age from the hot engine bay, and then when distrubed from an engine change the tired old connectors tend to get broken easily and quite often the wiring loom itself gets several breaks in it.
  21. 89-98 Front bumper (hope Si does'nt mind me using is pic) 99-00 Front bumper and a side by side comparison of NA bumper and 99spec bumper : 99spec on left , and pre99 in middle and on right and 3 99's in a row : Benefit over aftermarket bumpers is that its polyurethane and perfect fit.

You want 52mm Gauges for the CD player(din) slot. Some of the best gauges out there are from Defi, Blitz, Greddy..... But ther are plenty of cheaper makes that are perfectly fine - Autogauge for example.
