Taunton is like the "Capital" of somerset. You might want to rename the thread title, as Devon "sounds" a long way for the bristol/gloucester people for those that might ignore the thread otherwise
  2. For me it would probably be down to - Spoilerless, 99spec, Kaminari or R34 wing.
  3. R34 GTT spoiler I believe
  4. never knew the old 2+2 could look so good.
  5. Yes, its normal for the revs to be higher with Aircon on, the engine has to handle the load of the aircon pump. When you have it on econ mode (which is what you should be running most of the time, especially during winter) then the revs should be normal.
  6. Sounds good to me
  7. ooh..my old wheels :) Not sure if any other Z's are running them though
  8. I personally prefer the suede to the Velour, but the Velour is still 100x better then the tweed ofcourse. The Suede was fitted to series 2/3 cars that had leather seats, and the Velour was fitted to series 2/3 cars that had cloth seats.

  11. I had 8.5" x 19" (245/35/19) fronts with 9.5" x 19" (265/30/19) in the past. Lowered by about 45mm. No issues other than having to change one of the screws on the front arch liner to prevent it rubbing.
  12. lol, it aint that bad Si. 5-10mins each once your used to it....putting them back in takes a bit longer.
  13. You cant rely on the connector colour. For example a set of Nismo 555's have purple connectors, but so do new stock 370cc connectors. If they are brown then its a pretty good indicator of original stock 370cc injectors though.
  14. I take it were talking about the rear engine cover, rather than the skinz ? With the rear engine cover I'd have concerns over the possibility of higher enginebay temps from trapped hot air. The skinz are a great idea though for changing the engine bay colour without pulling engine.
  15. Blimey Rich is that the spec you've always had or have you had a lot of work done recently ?

  17. Why is Artztogo no longer a member ? If you find any old posts from him it shows as guest, which is what happens when the account is deleted.
  18. Each turbo is equalled out by the balance bar on the plenum, and its the balance bar where the boost guage takes it reading.
  19. Damn Im still paying 108p for regulare unleaded at my local garage
  20. They go to the Speedo Dials first, then onto the Main ECU, and then to the PAS ECU. They may go to the PAS ECU before the Main ECU, not too sure, but definatly the Speedometer first.
  21. Depends on what sort of driving you do. The NA is a couple of MPG more economical around town, but the TT is a couple of MPG more economical on motorway. The TT will use quite a bit more than the NA when thrashing it. Typically I would say an NA returns around 23-24mph avg, and a TT around 20-22mpg avg. As for performance difference TT 0-60mph is around 5.5 secs 0-100mph is around 14secs Top speed about 175mph (unrestricted) NA 0-60mph is around 7secs. 0-100mph is around 18secs Top speed about 150mph (unrestricted) TT is very tunable, pretty cheap to add an extra 60-80hp (drops nearly a second off the 0-60 and over 2 secs of the 0-100), and ofcourse ultimately able to give you some serious high HP if thats what your interested in. NA is'nt particulaly tuneable, in comparison. But its engine is responsive and likes to rev. Its weighs less than the TT and sounds great. Many TT owners underestimate how much fun a good NA Manual can be.
  22. Just sent him message to ask him why he is using a Left Hand drive Non-turbo engine bay pic.
  23. Yeh, either a fake advert or the guy did'nt have an engine bay pic of his car so thought he was being clever by adding one off the net.
  24. Definatly an NA engine bay pic, but picture is also from a LHD car, so its the wrong picture.
