  2. no, he's not si. He is asking about +18 or +38 for the rear. He's not asking about fronts.
  3. Im pretty sure the rear in MclarenF1kids car in the pic above is a 10" wheel with +38. so definatly the +38 . You wont need spacers for the rear.
  4. Happy Birthday !!!
  5. Nice one Andy. Will I see it driving around now then ?
  6. I dont believe it personally, but even if there is sufficient mapping in place to handle that high boost there are plenty of benefits to a remapped chip for the sake of £70-£100. Speed limiter removed, rev limiter increased, and better performance from optimising the fuel and timing compared to stock. this made me laugh :
  7. Stock gauge is'nt detailed enough to show 2psi. I presume you mean its pointing at 2 on the stock gauge ? which is in kg/cm^2 .
  8. oh, sorry no I was referring to your new black one.
  9. I think a set of UK clocks with Speedo rings look so much better though.
  10. Thats what I said..or meant anyway - Date of manufacturer from DVLA is not accurate, they always say the same date of the year - 31st Dec
  11. Nissan Skyline Bayside Blue (TV2) was originally Sapphire Blue (TK3)
  12. I have a JD chip in mine, and the same in my last TT.
  13. If u found pic on net then add the URL link for the pic
  14. Just Checked yours pics, definately Hydraulic hicas. the date of manufacture is not accurate, all imports say 31-12-XX on them for whatever year it is.
  15. If you have vehicle specific harness then it goes between the Ignition switch and the original ignition switch connector. (ie unplug ignition connector of back of ignition, plug it into your harness and the other end of your harness into igntiion switch). If you dont have vehicles specific harness then you will have to cut plug of and hardwire it.
  16. Sorry Bird, yours would be a Series 2 still, as it has Hydraulic Hicas and the Series 1-2 spoiler. THats the 2 big differences between series 2 and 3.
  17. Is that the grey one in the Pics I saw Dan ? If so thats a R34 GTT, which is more powerfull than the R33 GTST, but still not in zed territory.
  18. Yes it spins with the waterpump, so speed increases with revs. It also has a built in viscous clutch, as engine temp increases the clutch engages and the fan spins faster. It helps to maintain a more constant engine temperature and most RWD cars use them.
  19. Yes its a viscous fan it runs with the engine, and will get faster if the engine gets hotter.
  20. I presume by ears you mean the Instrument pods. The climate control pod was changed in 93 for an Improved version allowing more control over airflow direction. They were then left unchanged for rest of production. Most later cars dont even have the Digital climate control, as it became an expensive option around 95/96, and they tend to have the manual heater controls instead.
  21. no, its cars older than Jan 1st 1973. The Rolling 25yr rule was dropped in 1998
  22. I think you win prize for strangest question of the month LOL Halfords are the UK's biggest car accessory store chain - http://www.halfords.co.uk
  23. If the PAS is fine and only the speedo is not working ? then its not the speed sensor, its mostly likely to be dry joints on the speedo cluster circuit or the speedo needle motor has failed.
