  1. most spoilers are around that same price though (if you look on zcentre.co.uk for example). The killer is shipping costs for body parts from the U.S though.
  2. its ok, but the best aspects of that bodykit are not included - Nose panel, bonnet and Wide arches.
  3. I usually recommend the Greddy Profec B Spec II as good all-round boost controller. If you search here or google it you will find plenty of info.

whereabouts are you based Nap ? your profile says Hereford
  5. I was led to believe they are kaminari skirts, unaltered.
  6. Its within the ECU Chip remap. John dixon changes the VVT point on his Chips, I imagine the others probably do too.
  7. not seen the ebay one, but its a brown colour, but called Pearl bronze I believe. But as with most peals they do look a lot better in person than they do on camera. They came with cream interiors as standard (cream leather seats and cream suede panels).

60cm high, why is it in such a large box ? It should'nt cost more than £20 with parcel2go if you pay the extra premium for the length, or £10 if you lie.
  9. I'd say that figure it totally made up and relates to no data at all. Nissan UK would'nt have a clue about how many of any version are in the UK. They "may" know how many have been worked on in the UK by Nissan main dealers, but ofcourse they would be well aware that its of no relation to actual numbers. p.s The Pearlescent bronze colour being discussed is a real grower IMO, Im really fond of it now. In person you can really appreciate it, and a lot of people seem to really like it when they see it.
  10. you can buy a 4.1 gear ratio kit for the TT rear diff from a company called "leader gears".
  11. It will be worn Hydraulic lifters or injectors clicking.
  12. and his team-mate - Trulli (also on dry tyres) posted an even slower last lap than Glock.
  13. I've done 60mph in the slicktop.....was scary !! ......but then I was being towed on about 3ft of rope by a 4x4
  14. Yeh but it will have cost more and be duller to drive ;)
  15. Strong yes....as strong No. Have seen NA diffs or driveshafts damaged in the states....but your talking 600 horses, with slicks doing drag launches. It is cheaper than the leader gear kit, yes. Leader gears gears cost just as much for the fitting (if not more) from a gearbox specialist as they cost to purchase as well.
  16. Its the same as driving as NA zed in that respect. at 80mph in 5th with TT ratio the rpm is 3100rpm at 80mph in 5th with NA ratio the rpm is 3400rpm So there is a Motorway MPG loss. Its not for everybody, very few have done it, if you do a lot of motorway travelling then there is some sacrifice. Its a modification designed to improve response and acceleration. My car is destined for a lot of Track work, so its a real benefit for me.
  17. IMHO - 2 vents. 1 each above the area where the turbo's reside. But dont place them too far back as typically with aerodynamics the airflow pressure is higher toward the more rear of the bonnet, and for air to exit via the vent you need a lower airpressure.
  18. Check price with MJP (in traders section) or you can import from the states (courtesyparts.com, czp.us, z1motorsports.com) It needs to be removed via the drivees footwell, so involves plenty of lieing upside down under the dash. If the car is a Manual its best to remove the clutch pedal box. I think there is a guide on here somewhere for removing it, I've not looked to see if its for with or without dash remova. Its probably in the FAQ.
  19. The stock spoiler is there to reduce positive lift by cleaning the path of air where it leaves the rear of the car. It does'nt create downforce. I've personally not noticed any ill-affect from no spoiler at double the max legal road speeds.
  20. yeh, It will be heater matrix Im afraid. Depends how mechanically minded you are. It takes somebody experienced about 1-2hrs max, to remove old one and fit new one without removing main dash, but can take an entire weekend for somebody who's not experienced/skilled and wants to remove entire dash to give them more room. Buy new, not 2nd hand.
  21. Final drive (diff) ratio is 3.69 (TT) vs 4.08 (NA). Gearbox ratios are the same.
  22. Yes, traction becomes more of an issue, just like when increasing power...but thats where proper alignment, good suspension and quality tyres come into play.
  23. 30-40kg , but the zed is too front heavy anyway.
  24. I've converted Zmaster has converted Topless has a NA Convertible converted to a TT, so still has NA rear. Paul@swz has a NA Convertible converted to a TT, so still has NA rear I think thats it for the UK, but there may be 1 or 2 others that have converted and never said.
