  1. for mapping? Its not going to be of much use, you need at least wideband o2 sensor to help with mapping, and techtom does'nt tell you anything or relevance there. If you still want something like Techtom then you can get the same and much more info than the Techtom using a Laptop and a copy of Conzult or Datascan.
  2. lol...thats a crap baby pink, I did a Hot pink, much better...go for it Joel :D
  3. Nice one. So its ; Martin Brundell and Jonathan Legard Race Commentating. David Coulthard and Jake Humphrey Fronting the Program Lee McKenzie as Pit lane Reporter
  4. The best paint you can get for it is Plastidip. Its a spray on rubber coating ! and its fantatstic. I have done all my door trims and scuttle panels in it. Its a UK company, google it. They also sell on ebay.
  5. Same results. First one is the Standard Nissan method, but if your comfortable with shorting out a couple of wires at the port instead then the 2nd method is quicker.
  6. You can test the Hicas movement on Conzult when stationary, its very cool to see the rear wheels turning in diagnostics mode.
  7. Its a totally different system to the preludes. Hicas is a high speed handling aid, and not a parking aid.
  8. There are 2 methods without having a Conzult/Datascan. method 1 - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html method 2 - http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html
  9. arrhh, I think I've met you before Stu....were you on Grand theft auto 4 ?
  10. They are Dry cone filters, and nearly every other zed out there is running some form of pop sharger.
  11. Why not just ditch the bulky restrictive stock air box for an Apexi Induction kit ?
  12. License for 11 years. Clean license till I got my first zed, but 9 points since ! , none of them in the zed though
  13. ahh, gotcha. Thanks Lymon.
  14. There are quite a few pieces of software that will read the Nissan ODB1 ECU. Conzult and Datascan being the most popular.
  15. and bad for bits too
  16. More info needed. Could be Wheelhop during loss of traction due to worn rear shocks and bushes - This would be from the rear of the car and mostly from standstill Could be propshaft centre and/or rear gearbox mount - Would be a vibration through base of car, and usually happens at around 55mph too. Could be Engine missfire - Rough running from Engine, from PTU, Loom, connector fault.
  17. Yep, thats 1 of the 2 methods of installing fogs on a Zed. The other being to convert 1 or 2 of the rear brake lights using a Relay.
  18. I always presumed 1996 onwards are OBDII , but never looked into it? OBDII does have advantages when it comes to data reading software availability. I imagine your looking at the range of OBDII add-ons available for your Carputer?

The holes for the hinges are enlarged, so you just undo the hinge bolts, move the door and tighten them backup.

they are 19 yrs old (1989), approaching 20 yrs old. The hinges have some adjustment on them if there are any alignment problems.
  22. Thats not the Velour interior. Velour was'nt available till late 92/93 onwards and is a much softer plusher material (the pic of Murts above is the velour). The interior on the ebay car is the early cloth, its very similar to the tweed but only available on the S1 UK cars.
