ecu fault code ???
34 The Short flashes are the 1st number (they flash 3 times), the long flashes are the 2nd number (they flash 4 times) = 34 Code 34 means there is a fault with your Detontation/Knock sensor. Either the sensor itself it failed or the connector or the loom. It basically means the ECU is not getting a reading from it. Your car is in safety mode. Which means reduced boost, richer fuel maps and retarded timing. Car will be considerably down on power. (if you have an Electronic Boost controller than boost wont be reduced but the fueling and timing still will be). If you search code34 there is a lot of info out there. The first thing to do is clean the connector, and try again. If the knock sensor has failed you can either bypass it or replace it.

HID's definatly, but Cleaning them would be a big benefit too. You will have to remove them and strip them to clean though.

3/4 strap seat harnesses?
If you go for Harnesses on a 2+2 then you may as well rip out the rear seats and cage the car.

wrong clutch!!!
Complain. Its their fault. Give them PN to confirm their mistake. They will have to pay for Shipping returns.

There is a threaded bolt hole in the bottom of the b-pillar, but not at the top.

Has anyone bought these?
Yes, they are the same as the subframe spacers that a lot of Z32 vendors sale. Mine in anodized blue :

3/4 strap seat harnesses?
I've just measured my harnesses, and on the longest setting from the point they leave my shoulders to the end is 120cm. Not sure if thats long enough ? I would'nt trust fixing it to a strut brace, its not designed to have forces pulled on it in that way, but if you could plate up somewhere in the back it will reach to then thats better. They would make your rear seats unusable.

Thinking about one of these next for the family
Yep, Im after a E39 5 series for our family car. Fantastic cars. I would'nt replace the Zed for one, but the regular versions (non M5) makes a great daily driver. If you wanted to replace the zed then yeh, the M5 is a beast and If I had to, then that would be my choice. Won dozens of Car awards, and praised as being the best car in the world at the time.

3/4 strap seat harnesses?
ok, bear with me, this is hard to describe - for the lower straps, there is a threaded hole already in place under the carpet below the rear trim that seat belts fitted to B-pillar would bolt to. Does that make sense ? for the transmission tunnel side you cant use the existing seat belt buckle location, as thats currently bolted to the stock seat. You will need to buy a Plate with nut, then cut a hole in the tunnel and weld the plate into it. Like this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Harness-eye-backing-plate-FIA-approved-x-5_W0QQitemZ370117244713QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item370117244713&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 for the top straps, dont bolt them to the rear seat belt location. You will kill yourself in a crash. They need to be bolted at shoulder height. If they are bolted in a low place like the rear seat belt holes then in the event of a crash the force will pull downwards and cruch your spine. Very dangerous. The obvious solution is a Rear 4 point cage, or a Harness bar. But thats not so simple in a 2+2.

need help with my hid lights
You can get the Bulbs from Danny@DTA. The Rest of the kit and the wiring is fine, those 2 spade connectors just plug into your existing headlight bulb conector.
