leigh l
Just got my car back last night after having forged engine replacement inc tubs, ic's, pistons, injectors, pully's, clutch, flywheel etc etc, had 170 mile journey ahead of me, the car ran superbly without a hitch, a bit frustrating though because couldnt test it out as I have to run it in a bit, it's only running at 1 bar at the moment using boost jets, but I will be changing to boost controler in the near future. The only niggle I have is the rps racing clutch, its like standing on a stepping machine set at the hardest level lol, wont take long to get used to it though. Thanks again to Chris and the boys. BAZZ
Superb Leigh ;) I knew you wouldnt be dissapointed! The clutch will take a bit of getting used to but at least it should hold anything you throw at it!

If you get your head down there you'll see where it can be adjusted. You need to slacken off a nut and turn a threaded bar, then tighten nut back up. Funkysi
Suprised people still take their cars there to be honest. Sounds like you're happy though and good luck with it.

BAZZ
I agree with leigh. A lot of people expect to get an engine rebuilt for peanuts and dont like forking out on, in my opinion, essential items that should be replaced. These are not cheap cars to run or repair and in my experience skimping on a few bits hoping it will be alright is not an option!

Understood therefore don't you think it would be a good idea for "said" adviseries to be underwritten with exemption from warranty and an actual warranty given in writing? and an agreed date of completion of works in writing? wow300
Make sure you have free play on the clutch pedal, as legrath says about adjustment and also the cruise control switch has an adjuster on it for the pedal
