hellraiser
Contact paul at swz and buy the uk clocks he has for sale for £100 much better then a speedo converter!!!!
zx-eyes
I got a Delimiter from Zcentre about 2 years ago and its been great, very easy to fit and it delimits the car, converts from kph to mph and also your odo will clock up in miles. They are not the cheapest however it is tried and tested by myself and is superb IMO :) HTH :)

Yowser
UK Clocks is the best way. Everything works as it should, they look better than Jap clocks and you get Boost and OIl pressure in PSI as well. Next best is changing the resistor inside the speedo. Then there is the Convertor option. Problem with the convertor is that it throws the PAS and Hicas out of wack, as they think you are going slower than you really are and they rely on accurate speed measurement. Delimiters can also be unreliable. Causing Speedo and Power steering failure.
Bigman
Agree with Legrath, I had the convertor and wasnt happy at all so opted for UK clocks and everything works as it should.
ianl
And just to clarify UK clocks will delimit it also :) i disagree :) the only way to really delimit is to reprogram the ECU, using a converter fools the ECU into thinking you havn't reached the limit speed yet (so in effect raising the limit) changing to UK clocks does not affect the signal sent to teh ECU therefore can not affect the limit Quote [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

petes21st
the uk clocks remove the restricted jap limit of 112mph and set it to the restricted UK limit of 155MPH However if you chip your ecu it will remove all limits reguardless of which clocks you have
AlanZ
i have tried indiglo dials, very good illumination and look good but when they fail, oohhhh its bad, had my jap clocks with the limiter, nice but they are black?!?!? i now have AUS facias in white that read in KPH but have the full deflection of 180, so adjusted my tensiometers and now read correct to my satnav and with brov on his ZXR750 riding alond side at 30, 70, and yes!!! 165!!! and i kept with him. al. got the dials from ebay, good q. and fast delivery. Yowser
Hicas is rear wheel steering which is a high speed handling aid - Only came on Twin Turbos though.
dubz
Oh i see  so i dont have to worry about hicas then:D

Only sorted after alteration to ecu and after market chip fitted. Now I have no Idea how fast it shall go. Only just got a little past 140mph. Can't find the roads for any more. Interesting, they should do, they even did on mine prior to me buying. What year is your zed?
Rich666
Interesting, they should do, they even did on mine prior to me buying. What year is your zed? They shouldn't! You sure your car's not been chipped? After you've changed the clocks, the ecu still receives the same number of pulses per given speed whether you've got jap, uk, us or no clocks in it! It's the ECU not the clocks which limit the car.
Stu300SMZ
Interesting, they should do, they even did on mine prior to me buying. What year is your zed? It's a 1996. The speedometer had been chanded to mph but the distance is still recorded in kph. Maybe there is something in that. I don't know. I was the first owner of this import last year. What I do know is that the limiter would cut in at 115mph until I had the cpu modified. This was all part of getting a performance chip fitted. Now of course there is no limit. By the way it's a TT
Yowser
UK Clocks do not alter Speed limit restriction.
