  1. It's interesting you have been declined from PerformanceDirect when i am with them and have been for 5 of the 6 years i have had the car. Only today i got my renewal and with 12 mods declared it was only £193 - i am not even going to try and find a cheaper one elsewhere. I know you can get a quote online with them and fyi i have a SP50 but this 'dies' in October.
  2. And some of us have sadly passed away so we'd only have 8 men .
  3. Some of the ducting might be either missing, dislodged or not put together correctly above the pedals.
  4. Well...............................what can i say :innocent:.
  5. It doesn't need to be super duper tight, finger the nut on and then just nip - i can guarantee it wont fall off .
  6. So you're revving through the gears and the needle gets to 4000, it then takes an eternity to drop if at all, can't see how that cluster can be any good or why it is like that, perhaps under load it works ? I notice a few needle sticking areas on the other though, what might help if the faces are too proud is just lift up the needle a fraction on it's spindle for clearance, use a slim fork for leverage.
  7. Stafford region somewhere, i have his number because Banzai Breakers Paul uses him.
  8. Fuel needle will not return but all the others will or should. Can i have a red skittle .
  9. Here's another guy, Polish - calls himself Chris 07970423915 .
  10. You stopped short of saying it Gaz........................yeah the Scottish, 1 in every 3 up there couldn't be bothered - if my quick maths and facts are correct that's 1.3 million people wasted majority remain votes not cast.
  11. An early dart down there for the Sunday and no doubt meeting up with other just Sundayers en route .
  12. I'm the same, it's a struggle, must get a low profile one, 70mm seems the slimmest possible i notice on a quick search.
  13. Can those gauges pass without comment !! At least drill dirty big 10mm holes to take the cabling out of view :w00t:, perhaps though they've used double sided stickies on all 3 and didn't want any screw holes at all, in that case a kind of forgiveness in a perverse way.
  14. Yeah sure is filthy, in fact i don't know how you've the nerve to post up when it's in this diabolic condition .
  15. I'd of replied to that earlier but i fell off my chair.................must have no zeds to fix, perhaps he's caught up .
  16. Some clever trousers on here - pat yourself on your back Si..................Orkney Grey, Black Roof, Dynamic Lux fyi :).
  17. That is certainly a very long smart phone you have !!
  18. Very nice work, when i viewed and bought my new car i thought of you...............these are factory fit :cool3:.
  19. A little more serious reply, there is no reason why you cannot use a led bulb but like all the bulb positions you must get the polarity correct but the fact it remains lit means you have that correct - it is getting a signal for low fuel though, hence it being illuminated, whether this is faulty is another matter if you're sure there's fuel in.
  20. This one's easy - put some fuel in .
  21. Since my update i bought the finest grade of paper for my disc, just to recap i started off with the 150 and this takes out everything, then down to 100, then 50 and then yesterday i spent time with my newly acquired 20 grade, very fine is this and it does feel like it is a pre polish paper. Each paper as been needed i will again add - skipping is not an option. I had something similar but i bought this item and highly recommend, it is top quality. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252203462159?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Here it is attached to my drill with a tub of water at hand. So on with the polishing, so using the paste i got with the kit although G3 or similar did seem similar and with water on the pad, i ended up making a mess !! If i was to do something different next time it would be to do this job with the glass out of the door, to enable corners/edges to be got better but to be fair there were no scratches in these areas anyway. After going back and forth umpteen times i wiped off, i spotted some scratches i had missed so it was back through the papers locally though, polished again and then again. I do have some scratches i need to go back to and i shall asap but the more you polish the better the finish, this is not a two minute job. My glass was badly badly marked but with this being blue swb glass i had no choice but to do this process, it's not perfect but is way way better, yes i have some inevitable distortion but this is only visible in the unforgiving baking sun, bet if i pulled up no one would say or spot anything, when you consider i've not done anything like this before............i am well happy. I shall photo again when i've totally finished. You can see below on the blurred pic a lot of slopping and no doubt tiny glass fragments/dust in the cushioning so i removed for a damn good clean, i also sprayed down some WD40 so it flushed the glass out and ran into the door cavity. Much better after being wiped in hot soapy water and lightly scrubbed with a nail brush, freshened up also with some black satin, certainly not wanting those scratches back .
  22. When mine is counting down it flicks my sidelights on, so are these then get me home lights, certainly rice and couple that with leaving the radio/stereo on and then it shuts down and retracts the aerial. It is gimmicky i grant you, my 'estate' is surrounded with traffic calming so always my last few minutes is very slow running - ideal really in a twisted way !! To enable you to shut, lock and alarm up Paul whilst it's counting down, i cannot remember exactly but it involves putting some chunky one way diodes in one of your ignition barrel wires fyi.
  23. Happy birthday pal, have a good day .
  24. Like this ? Had it on less than 24 hours, didn't like it :blushing:.
