Rare parts thread
That's just it, 'it may look okay' you state, a lot of trouble to go to and it'll need to match your red exactly would it not. The product on offer as been done incredibly well, has the seller got hold of some clear outer pieces before they were tinted ?? Then the red as been applied and masked very well around the light chambers, no masking would make life much easier or better still use the grey rear part as in the other colour option. It's also incredibly neat around the edges, where the front is bonded to the rear part, where is all the black sealant ? The seller also has some others on offer, red and blue lenses, etc, not sure on some of it's practicality but it all looks well executed.

Err..no sidelights..
If your fog light switch picks up it's 'live' from the sidelights then that'll be the reason the fog doesn't work.

Rare parts thread
I'll have to comment, i could make these but it'll be a lot of work, messy work at that, the GReddy is just a decal but everything else is there to convert any reverse panel. Of course then the tails will have to be made the same way to match and there's no guarantee the look will get universal approval .

After a part
If you buy threaded rod locally, you can cut to length easy enough and with it in a vice you can bend and create a sufficient loop :).

Another challenge for the Phutumschmeister!!
I do think about this kind of thing, tremendous amount to do though let alone execute, sidelight red, brake lights, fog, reverse and signal. I think i like the oem too much though for me to start toiling :sweatdrop:.

What did you do to your zed today?
Appreciate that Simon and the others put up.........but it says fine to medium scratches, i'd consider mine worse than this for when the window has gone up and down. They need a full going over before i refit but pennies spent in this area will be well worth it.

What did you do to your zed today?
A few years ago i foolishly removed my door glass as they were scratched and got some bronze ones :helpsmilie:. The bronze ones are good but not mint, it is quite blatantly obvious i'm going to have to do something with the scratches and re fit the blue. Good blinking job i didn't throw away :smash:.

A rare find ???
I always knew i had the original NISSAN compressor in the back under my space saver and here is a pic of said item . Yesterday i was checking my spare, with me having 15mm wheel spacers on the front i don't think this spare will go on because the hubcentric's bolts are proud, i need the other 'sexier' space saver that is out there and eventually i shall obtain for the right money. The green you see, is the first aid kit that was sold with a Zed on it, btw. It wasn't until i turned the compressor bag over did i spot something in the bottom right corner then it all delightfully clicked with me :). Because a few months ago, out of a SWB 89 breaker i pocketed the tyre pressure gauge piece you see below, totally mint and in a clear packet. Not sure what to make of it, i got home but couldn't shed any further light with googling, etc and thought it must be a universal item but the kg/cm2 markings did get me thinking . It does seem i have stumbled across, albeit small/insignificant........something quite rare, please feel free to tell me otherwise ?

What did you do to your zed today?
I put the 'new' wiring in for the side markers over xmas and then it took me a while getting the correct lights for their illumination. Now all sorted and i'm happy, i found some 6 x red smd side marker lights, apart from just light up they actually do something else but more on that another day. I always thought the one bulb in there didn't just spread it's light to my liking. Anyway for now here's a pic, albeit red these do light up similar to my side indication which is also smd.........there's a clue there actually !!

dump valve / bov / pop n bang
I will shed some light for you..............they work perfectly where they are, sound is not ott, wouldn't swap them and i've never had any sort of problem. And btw that is a slightly dated pic and having no fan shroud makes no difference at all, apart from being a finger protector that is.

What did you do to your zed today?
Not in red and not to light up but i did some piping a few years ago and i quite like how i've executed it :cool3:. You've just gone a whole lot farther and then some .

What did you do to your zed today?
They did yes, i've not done anything to the wheels in 6 years, apart from putting the odd decal on the spokes. There is a bubble here and there though, so...................sigh................another job to do .

What did you do to your zed today?
After messing about with my door mirrors, dark grey, then gloss black, then matt black.....i have gone full circle and returned to silver, silver wheel actually from poundland and then lacquered...........actually a very good match :thumbup1:.

Should I or shouldn't?
The OP's rear lights are now fitted, i don't personally have a pic but i do know he has received some and i believe now seen them in the flesh. Anyhow, i took his tails in exchange and got them off the shelf yesterday, i never really noticed until they were side by side how tinted his were........ I don't mind the lower chamber being slightly tinted but not the red one and there are ways of doing this but to be fair these were tinted quite well and you can see on the pic below it was starting to yield :thumbup1:. Took me a while but i got them back to stock tango, now returned back to the shelf for another day.
