Depressingly funny!
Such an unpopular move by any government but i wish we'd make it law to re take a test or some sort of assessment once every 10 years. 'Nobody was hurt' somebody mutters............as if the owner has no right to be annoyed !!

Indicator Stalk Series Differences...2 x For Sale.
I have looked into migrating over just the stalk into another assy but it looks a bit tricky with plastic tabs, etc. Which leads me now onto the for sale bit.......... The one in the foreground does have some slight fading but is in good to very good condition and very much better than most offered 2nd hand, complete of course with the sought after 'flash' symbol, i think this one is worth £17.50 delivered price with friends payment. The newly acquired one in the background has zero fading, complete again with the 'flash' livery and is like new, this one must be worth and if you want the best a confident £32.50 is sought delivered - again friends/family payment.

Indicator Stalk Series Differences...2 x For Sale.
Lets move on...........look at the pic below, the bottom one is 'mine' for the SRS wheel, the top two must be for the earlier steering wheel. If i put one of the two 'spare', 'straight' ones i have behind my wheel it stands to reason i cannot see it. Whereas if i fit my 'kinky' one, i get this view, you can see although the symbols are there, that little bit of fading does not please me but it seems it's a quite rare stalk so i'm stuck with it !!

Indicator Stalk Series Differences...2 x For Sale.
This is part fyi and part for sale thread. I took a punt and bought another stalk as the symbols adorning looked good and true enough when it arrived it was mint, great one thought. Tis the top one in the below pic.... On further inspection/taking out the one i have currently fitted and i have touched on this subject before, please note this pic where you'll notice an extra 3 pinned plug, this is to make the kerb lights come on when i signal that front corner (dips need to be on), a feature i quite like and wish to keep. And these are my plugs that go in said holes, mine is a series 4 slicktop, so of course Jap.

my build thread
It does look really nice done in black, gives me the even stronger idea to do it something very similar, love it how it contrasts against the 'lighter' plastic.

New Asda being built where we live...Looks like a zed in artist impression...
It is a good spot and in a lovely colour but where are the mother/child spacers and blue badge bays...........both to get misused by lazy :censored:. I confronted them in the past - only to receive a torrent of abuse, don't get me started .

Dash lights not working again!
I think you are focusing too much on the pod, cluster area, sounds like something is making it go pop on the sidelight circuit, broaden your horizons and check the corners of the car, unplug stuff trial and error.

spark plug sellers in UK
My engine power is 580 and in fact since it was forged in 2015 is running incredibly incredibly well the 1200 miles since. Plugs i have currently are BKR7E. I have also used in the not to distant past without issue BKR8EIX.

Turbo Timer fitting with alarm???
I have some great big fat rectifier diodes inline at the ignition, more than one so they can 'cope', trouble is it was a while ago i fit and i cannot remember exactly where and to which wire but am sure i've given you a possible work around or 'fix', trial and error initially with the diodes might get you there. I can walk away from mine, lock and it continues counting down.

Help needed. Coolant Issue
Wise choice with an important component to buy new and an upgrade from the factory rad to boot. I bought a 56mm core one several years ago and it's money well spent .

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
This is a better video for the bonnet struts, methinks the LHD cars have it a little more difficult than us on the L/H side, i didn't feel the need for spacers there. I too noticed the flexing if you treat it rough, suppose i could put a further nut/bolt in higher up but it's not bothering me greatly, my brackets are the later ones than the ones in this particular video fyi. What did you do to your zed today?
Fit my Winfactory bonnet struts that Richie got for me from the states . They're a great bit of kit, took me 30 mins or so to fit, i've been used to throwing the bonnet right back at right angles for better access and was worried these would restrict - thinking i'd have to keep removing them from their 'ball' but they hold the bonnet pleasingly quite high. They work very very well and will hold securely no doubt when it's windy without worry of it flying back or down.
