  1. Bought my house 15 years ago for about £160k, Built in the 60's i believe they all had rear garages of sorts but most of them have been demolished. My zed barely fits past the house and i also had to remove the side hedge to get it in. Cars of today are much wider than 50 years ago and most council garages that you used to be able to rent very rarely have cars and are also getting demolished now. This is the view from above and the stones are technically the driveway to the garage at the back. All the hedges were removed to free up some room in the garden and i think we gained about 7ft.
  2. Must be a market in them for someone to make a replica
  3. Internally the floor space is 4.66m by 5.66m I've built worktops and storage along the left side and back wall. There is also a cutout area to the left side which you cant see which has a sink and where we keep the kids bikes too. From the front its nearly 7m wide so it makes it look alot bigger than it truly is as the garden cuts in at the back left. We designed the garden area to make it look as if its not a drive way but rather a stoned feature. So the stones tend to have the washing line, bins and a huge table every time i want to take the zed out.
  4. To be honest it was mostly the wife, but it was needing doing as the floor was also covered in various oil spillages too.
  5. Back to bed she goes until the engine is ready !
  6. Good work! It's looking great.
  7. Originally bought them from Amazon. These are 6ft LED Battens and are exactly the width of the wooden beams of my garage and were perfect. I wired each row separately which has two batten lights to a beam so i can light up some or all of the garage.
  8. Now i have to clean and sort all this mess.
  9. Garage doors open time for some sun
  10. Time to clean out the zed cave as i've got so much more room to move about.
  11. Well that was a quick trip, planned to stay to Thursday but unfortunately had to come back earlier. At least Jimmer now has all parts to start an engine build. Hopefully we will see it in the next month or so.
  12. If anyone wants to meet up for a drink I'll be here to Thursday and be at Jimmers Mon - Wed!
  13. That's us arrived in Bristol.
  14. Really, I was under the impression no one gives a shit down south. ?
  15. The truck is now packed what i hope is 100% whats needed to build the engine.
  16. Road Trip !! Heading on a 7+ hour drive with my truck loaded with new zed parts ! Could it be engine related; only time will tell. the journey begins on Sunday afternoon.
  17. Hi Alan, Thanks for the support with becoming a Premium Member and welcome to the club. Few members on here are from Ireland, so your not alone.
  18. when i bought my zed it had all kinds of additional wiring which was not original. Having the same issue i started to unwire anything that didn't look oem. If its an aftermarket alarm try disconnect the fuse for it and test the batter 24 hours later. Other things like the stereo or amps can simply be unplugged. Unfortunately may be a slow game trying to find the fault.
  19. Click home, head to the downloads section and you can download all the electrical diagrams for each year.
  20. As i just blocked a whole IP block from the Russian Federation. Noticed earlier that our site was getting hit by about 30+ bots from various locations in Russia so i just blocked them all.
  21. It was very close, and as much as i wanted Italy to win i felt bad for those young lads taken the final shots !
